The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Executive Director Andrew D. Hamingson) announced today that Sandra E. Davis has been named Director of Development. Davis is currently the Director of Leadership Gifts and Special Campaigns at the Metropolitan Opera and was previously the Director of Development at Seattle Opera.

Today, Tuesday, April 20th at 8:30 pm, Cornelia Street Cafe will host a CD Release for the Jeff Davis Band. The band's debut album is entitled, 'We Sleep Outside on Loyal Label'. The Jeff Davis Band features: Jeff Davis, drums, cymbals, compositions; Tony Barba, tenor and soprano saxophone; Kirk Knuffke, trumpet; Ben Gerstein, trombone; Jon Goldberger, guitar; Eivind Opsvik, bass.
