In addition, for the first time since its beginnings in 2010 as the Sonoma Theater Alliance, the organization will become a theater company, acting as producer for all its shows, which are presented on the Rotary Stage in Andrews Hall.

Just in time for the holidays, 42nd Street Moon presents the return of everyone's favorite Yuletide sourpuss in the World Premiere of SCROOGE IN LOVE!, a fun, high-spirited follow-up to A Christmas Carol. Starring Broadway's Jason Graae (last seen at 42nd Street Moon in Little Me) in the title role, SCROOGE IN LOVE! follows Ebenezer Scrooge one year after his life changed for the better, although he still feels something is missing. Directed by Dyan McBride, SCROOGE IN LOVE! will run tonight, November 25, through December 13, 2015 (Press opening: Saturday, November 28) at the Eureka Theatre, 215 Jackson Street, San Francisco. 25 highly talented young singers took the stage before a completely sold-out crowd at the Lucky Penny Community Arts Center on Sunday evening for the third annual 'I'm the Greatest Future Star!' musical theatre competition for kids.

San Francisco's 42nd Street Moon raised the roof -- and significant funds -- with the help of celebrity guest star Laura Benanti at SONG OF A SUMMER NIGHT, the theatre company's gala fundraising evening held June 1 at Bimbo's 365 Club in San Francisco. 42nd Street Moon, San Francisco's only resident professional musical theatre company, has announced the lineup for its 22nd season of presenting rare and uncommon musical theater. Says Producing Director Stephanie Rhoads, "For 2014-2015, we're offering ESCAPADE! - a season of capers, sprees, hijinks, japery, and intrigues, to help audiences escape their day-to-day troubles with five spectacular American musicals from Broadway greats such as Cole Porter, Richard Rodgers, Stephen Sondheim, Charles Strouse, Richard Maltby, Sandy Wilson, Frank Loesser, George Abbott, Dorothy Fields and Arthur Laurents."

San Francisco's 42nd Street Moon raised the roof - and significant funds - with the help of celebrity guest star, Megan Hilty, at WHAT WE DID FOR LOVE, the theatre company's gala fundraising evening held February 27 at Bimbo's 365 Club in San Francisco. A sold-out crowd of 270 guests, many of whom adopted the suggested theme attire of 'Anything Goes with a dash of red,' were thrilled by the sultry and Smash-ing talents of Broadway and television star Megan Hilty, who with help from her musical director Bryan Perry, performed a crowd-pleasing array of hits from her already impressive career. You're a good man, Charlie Brown, but Snoopy is pretty good, too. In fact, he's the head beagle, and he's played with excellence, honor, smarts and lots of puppy charm by Keith Pinto, who so wonderfully portrayed the same character last year in another Peanuts-based musical at the Bay Area's Retro Dome. Of course, it wouldn't be Peanuts without the rest of the gang, present for 42nd Street Moon's production of the clever and always enjoyable musical, "Snoopy."

It's a bird! It's a plane! No, it's 42nd Street Moon's campy production of Superman the musical! In the same line as the original Batman television series, It's a Bird… It's a Plane… It's Superman makes fun of comic book heroes in a light way that most fans will appreciate: melodrama. Striped villains sneak about to the piano reel. The kooky Dr. Sedgwick plots her revenge for the Noble Peace prizes denied her. Lois Lane ponders life without her giant crush on the perfect man. And Superman gets a new and surprising weakness during a hilarious second act.

Continuing its 21st season, 42nd Street Moon unwraps a holiday treat for the whole family, SNOOPY!!!, with Music by Larry Grossman, Lyrics by Hal Hackady and Book by Charles M. Schulz Creative Associates. Directed by Lee Ann Payne, the show will run November 27 - December 15, 2013. Meet the cast below!

Following successful screenings in Beverly Hills, Northern California, and New York City, a Kickstarter campaign has been launched for DVD distribution of the independent romantic dramedy "Tick Tock Boom Clap".
