An exciting programme of platform events has been scheduled to run in conjunction with The Hothouse, Jamie Lloyd Productions' second show for Trafalgar Studios.

This summer HGTV reveals a new opportunity for an undiscovered design virtuoso to win his or her own show on the network in HGTV Star, a new twist on HGTV's classic design competition, Design Star.

With record breaking ratings and a first quarter that attracted more than 67 million adults, HGTV and DIY Network are set to premiere 27 new series, bring back more than 50 series and debut 50-plus specials in 2013.

The critically acclaimed Brits Off Broadway festival, host to the UK's most innovative and provocative theater in New York City, returns for its ninth season of New York premieres of new British theater. On Saturday November 17th Torontonians came out to support Gilda's Club of Greater Toronto at the eleventh annual It's Always Something variety show and fundraiser. The event was once again hosted by Russell Peters and featured performances by Eric McCormack, Nelly Furtado, Glass Tiger, Louise Pitre and more. All proceeds went to support Gilda's Club, which provides an invaluable support system and resource for people's who's lives have been touched by cancer. A home renovation competition series, Brother vs. Brother pits Jonathan, a licensed contractor, and Drew, a real estate agent, against each other as they each mentor a team of six talented home improvement experts vying for a grand prize of $50,000. Wagner College Theatre kicks off the 2012-13 Main Stage season with "Putting It Together," a Stephen Sondheim revue, which opens tonight, Oct. 3 and runs through Sunday, Oct. 14. The show marks the WCT's return to its home stage in the newly renovated Main Hall after a year away at Snug Harbor.
