Theatre 40 is proud to announce their fall World Premiere production by Leda Siskind, THE SURVEILLANCE TRILOGY. This is the 2nd show in the 201920 Series at Theatre 40, and also the 2nd play by Siskind, who's acclaimed production of All My Distances Are Far also premiered at Theatre 40 and is now published by Steel Spring Stage Rights. The show will premiere September 19, 2019. Casting for The Surveillance Trilogy will begin shortly after they announce the Director. The production is produced by David Hunt Stafford.

2019 has been a year full of momentous change for Theater Schmeater. The theater recently embarked on its first season without a physical space after five years in the former Belltown location. And now, the theater's leadership team is excited to welcome a new addition to the Theater Schmeater family: Artistic Director Christopher Kidder-Mostrom. After a multiple-month search, Kidder-Mostrom was selected from a field of highly qualified candidates to shepherd Theater Schmeater on a new path. Kidder-Mostrom's theatrical knowledge will be indispensable to the organization at it enters this time of transition. Board President Rachel Sorrels notes that as Theater Schmeater shifted to a nomadic company, it was important for us to hire an Artistic Director with a strong background in leadership experience and the ability to be artistically nimble. McCarter will welcome a group of esteemed and emerging playwrights and theater artists to Princeton for the Sallie B. Goodman Artists' Retreat. The annual retreat in June is a centerpiece of McCarter's LAB, a platform and creative incubator devoted to ongoing theatrical development and artist cultivation. The 2019 Retreat will take place from June 12 - June 19.
