Orphan Train, a musical drama based on a true historical experience and staged by Patricia Birch, will run from September 22nd through October 1st as part of the New York Musical Theatre Festival

The five Altar Boyz will discuss the show and sign CDs at Lincoln Center Barnes & Noble on July 28th

The New York Musical Theatre Festival has chosen 18 new shows for its 2005 programming

The 50th Annual Drama Desk Awards Ceremony took place on Sunday, May 22. The big winners of the night were Doubt and The Light in the Piazza, each of whom received 5 awards. Outstanding Musical however, went to Spamalot.

Altar Boyz will release its debut CD at the theater only, for two weeks, beginning Tuesday, May 3rd.

Spamalot leads the pack with 12 nominations, followed by Light in the Piazza with 11, and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels with 10. Click in to see all the nominees.

The Altar Boyz will sing the National Anthem at the Mets vs. Braves game on Wednesday April 27th at 1pm.

Altar Boyz will open at Detroit's City Theater this September, with the cast to be announced later.

The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director), will present the world premiere of LingoLand, a musical revue with words by Kenward Elmslie and music by a wide array of composers, beginning Monday, February 7 at the Company's home at Saint Peter's, Citigroup Center, 619 Lexington Avenue (at 54th Street).

Ken Davenport and Robyn Goodman today announced that the international search for the fifth member of ALTAR BOYZ is over. Matthew (who has taken the secular name Scott Porter) was recently discovered singing for thousands of dedicated worshippers at Disney World and Universal Studios in Florida, all without forsaking the boy-band roots that have allowed him to open for Orleans and 98 Degrees.
