Just announced, the Original Broadway Cast Recording of the new musical Anastasia will be released by Broadway Records. 

Tommy Mottola, the Dodgers, Tribeca Productions, and Evamere Entertainment announced today that the Original Broadway Cast Album of the hit musical A BRONX TALE will be released by Ghostlight Records, beginning March 24, 2017.

The box office at Broadway's Lunt Fontanne Theatre (205 West 46th Street), opens Monday, February 6, at 10am (EST). The first 50 ticket buyers at the Lunt Fontanne box office will receive a copy of the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Broadway tie-in edition by Roald Dahl.

ANASTASIA will begin previews on March 23, 2017 and open on Broadway on April 24, 2017 at the Broadhurst Theatre (235 West 44th Street). Starring Christy Altomare, Derek Klena, John Bolton, Ramin Karimloo, Caroline O'Connor, and Mary Beth Peil, the musical features a book by celebrated playwright Terrence McNally and a lush, original score by Tony Award winners Stephen Flaherty (music) and Lynn Ahrens (lyrics). Tony Award-winning director Darko Tresnjak directs.

It was a sweet night for AKA NYC at the 12th Annual Davey Awards as the entertainment marketing agency captured three Gold Awards for its work on behalf of the upcoming Broadway musical CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY.

According to an article in the New York Post, French playwright Jean-Etienne de Becdelievre has accused the producers of the upcoming Anastasia musical of plagiarizing material from his 1952 play titled 'Anastasia.'

A BRONX TALE opens on Broadway tonight, December 1, at the Longacre Theatre (220 West 48th Street). 

Performances begin tonight, November 3, for the Broadway premiere of A BRONX TALE, the new musical featuring a book by Academy Award nominee Chazz Palminteri, music by Oscar, Grammy, and Tony Award winner Alan Menken, and lyrics by Grammy Award winner and Oscar and Tony Award nominee Glenn Slater, co-directed by two-time Oscar winner Robert De Niro and four-time Tony Award winner Jerry Zaks, with choreography by Tony nominee Sergio Trujillo.
