The Los Angeles Children's Chorus (LACC) honors the remarkable legacy of legendary composer and beloved American musical storyteller Richard M. Sherman and LACC advocates and benefactors Mary Blodgett and Carlton Calvin at its annual fundraiser, Gala Bel Canto, on Wednesday, April 10, 2013, 6 p.m., at Dorothy Chandler Pavilion's Grand Hall in downtown Los Angeles.
The LA Master Chorale's 2013-14 season will celebrate the choir's reputation as one of the world's most eminent choruses, and highlights its seminal role in the city's cultural development as a founding resident company of The Music Center and the Resident Chorus of Walt Disney Concert Hall.

This 50-minute, high-energy introduction to opera is recommended for audiences ages 5 and up. Performances are today, February 17, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Garrett Lewis, four time Academy Award nominated set decorator, dancer and actor, died Tuesday, January 29 at the age of 77. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri in 1935 and died at his home in Woodland Hills, California of natural causes.
