Showtime Orders Seven New Episodes of OUR CARTOON PRESIDENT

SHOWTIME has extended the order of its half-hour animated series OUR CARTOON PRESIDENT picking up seven new episodes to air this summer. The series will air the last of its initial 10-episode run on Sunday, April 8 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, and will then continue this summer with seven all new episodes. The political docuseries THE CIRCUS will take over that timeslot with a season premiere on Sunday, April 15 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

This original musical is an epic space adventure filled with all the sci-fi tropes we love and all the politics we love to hate. Taking place four hundred years in the future when the fallout of the Trump administration has left humans stranded without a planet, Captain Natasha Trump (Gillian Bellinger, writer of the script and lyrics), a direct descendant of President Donald J. Trump, races to find humanity a new planet called Polaris 4 to call home.
