Jefferson Performing Arts Society (JPAS) is thrilled to be working with New Orleans theatre mega-talents Gary Rucker and Kelly Fouchi of Theatre 13 in the upcoming 34th Season 2011-2012. These two local theatre regulars join JPAS as director and choreographer (respectively) for a co-production of THE DROWSY CHAPERONE in September of 2011. Rucker and Fouchi have graced the JPAS stages in past productions and JPAS is ecstatic to have these two on the production side for the 34th Season. JPAS looks forward to announcing their full season with production teams in early Spring. Performance Network Theatre announces it's production of 'The Drowsy Chaperone' with book by Bob Martin and Don Mckeller and musics and lyrics by Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison. The musical comedy, which recently received the Tony Award for Best Book of a Musical and Best Original Score, will run November 11 through December 26, 2010. 'The Drowsy Chaperone' is directed by Carla Milarch (Little Shop of Horrors, The Baker's Wife, The Fantasticks) with Musical Direction by R. The Tony Award-winning hit Broadway musical will also be presented by arrangement with Josef Weinberger Limited on behalf of Music Theatre International of New York.
