An original musical adaptation of "Beauty and the Beast", inspired by the 1740 French Novella, and decidedly not Disney, has been revived at the Players Theatre, and located at 115 MacDougal Street (between West 3rd and Bleeker) in the West Village. Last night, Wednesday 15 June, saw the Opening Night of Disney's new West End musical Aladdin at the Prince Edward Theatre, London.
