The Utah Symphony announced today the return of Celtic fiddling sensation, Celtic Woman, on December 19 at 7:30 PM and a solo presentation of Billboard-chart topping Utah piano quintet, The 5 Browns, on January 26, 2019 at 7:30 PM as part of its 2018-19 season. Breaking Points is the story of two college roommates coping with the suicide of their friend. As Catania and Forenza note, the film addresses several timely and universal themes (e.g., coming of age, grief, and incomplete relationships) relevant to the concluding observance of Mental Health Awareness Month (May) and in anticipation of LGBT Pride (June).

EXQUISITA AGONÍA -- the newest work by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Nilo Cruz (ANNA IN THE TROPICS) - has announced casting for the play's world premiere engagement at the esteemed Off-Broadway theater, Repertorio Español (138 E. 27 St.) in Manhattan, according to the company's Executive Producer Robert Federico. Preview performances begin May 25 prior to official press opening on May 30. Repertorio Español performs in Spanish, with English simultext optional at every seat in the company's 140-seat theater.

Sarasota Opera's Da Capo Society, the only young patrons group, ages 21 - 45, dedicated to a single arts organization in Sarasota, will host The Wizard of Oz themed costume contest Thursday, June 7th at 6pm to celebrate the launch of the new season of "Classic Movies at the Opera House." Launched in 2017, the "Classic Movies at the Opera House" series will occur twice monthly starting Thursday, June 7 and will include timeless films designed to be enjoyed on the big screen in the elegance of the Opera House. Each presentation will begin at 7:30pm.

Renowned director and TNT co-founder Carl Stewart and acclaimed storyteller/actress Dolores Hydock will once again combine their formidable talents in Terrific New Theatre's next production, the one-woman play "Shirley Valentine," running June 7-30. The pair's theatrical collaborations over the past two decades are legendary, and this production reunites them for the first time since Stewart retired as TNT's Artistic Director in summer 2016.

Park City Institute Executive Director Teri Orr, announced the approval of two outdoor venues for the 2018 St. Regis Big Stars, Bright Nights Concert Series, by Park City City Council. All performances will be held at Quinn's Junction Sports Complex Fields, with the exception of Grace Potter, slated to perform her July 13 show at City Park. Gates will open at 4:30 P.M., and the concerts will begin at 6:00 P.M.

The Pittsburgh CLO Guild is proud to announce that Sandra and William Lambert will be honored with the CLOE Award for Community Service at the 63rd Annual Pittsburgh CLO Guild Ball on May 19 at the Westin Convention Center Hotel. The CLOE award was established in 2011 to recognize and celebrate individuals who have made significant contributions to our community.

Utah Symphony | Utah Opera today announced nine-piece swing and jazz band, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, will return to the 2018 Deer Valley Music Festival stage on August 4, 2018, rounding out the orchestra's six-week, 17-concert music festival, which begins on June 30, 2018 and runs through August 11, 2018, Tickets for the general public start at $39 and go on sale Friday, May 11, 2018 at 10 AM.
