Rehearsals are now underway for the Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) New York premiere of PRAYER FOR MY ENEMY, a new play by two-time Tony Award nominee, Pulitzer Prize finalist and two-time Obie Award winner Craig Lucas (Small Tragedy at Playwrights Horizons, The Light in the Piazza, Prelude to a Kiss, Reckless, The Dying Gaul).

'There is no better show to introduce your family to the dream of Broadway and live theater than THE WIZARD OF OZ,' says Susie Krajsa, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Broadway Across America. 'Over the years, THE WIZARD OF OZ has become an American icon and there are many testaments to it's longstanding place in our history. The original film is on the American Film Institutes (AFI's) top 10 movies of all time and the song 'Over the Rainbow' is ranked in AFI's top 100 songs. The ruby red slippers worn by Judy Garland are on view at the Smithsonian.'

Actors, musicians and television personalities arrived on the red carpet for the Condé Nast Traveler Reader's Choice Awards on Wednesday, October 15. The luxury travel magazine, which is published by Condé Nast Publications, hosted the event which honored 'The Best of the Best' in the world of travel. Held at the New York Public Library at 42nd Street and Fifth Avenue in New York City, the celebration was hosted by actress Jane Krakowski ('Ally McBeal,' '30 Rock').

Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) has announced additional casting and details for the third production of its 2008/2009 Season, the New York premiere of PRAYER FOR MY ENEMY, a new play by two-time Tony Award nominee, two-time Pulitzer Prize finalist and two-time Obie Award winner Craig Lucas (Small Tragedy at Playwrights Horizons, The Light in the Piazza, Prelude to a Kiss, Reckless, The Dying Gaul). PRAYER FOR MY ENEMY is the first of two plays by Mr. Lucas that will receive their New York premiere this season.

Perfect for age's four to fourteen, the Paper Mill Playhouse Children's Theatre Series has partnered with the best and brightest theatre companies to bring charming, whimsical, and educational performances filled with audience participation and adventure. All shows take place on select Saturdays and Sundays in the fall and spring and begin at 10:00am. Tickets are $15 for orchestra and box seats and $12 for mezzanine seats. Plans have been announced for the sixtieth anniversary celebration of the acting school SCHAUSPIELSCHULE KRAUSS. During the entire year, the city of Vienna celebrates the school's long and rich history in a series of theatre performances, scenic and multimedia readings and musical entertainment.

This celebration of the iconic 1939 MGM film starring Judy Garland, THE WIZARD OF OZ will blow South Floridians away from the moment the tornado touches down and transports audiences to a an art deco Oz, complete with Munchkins and flying monkeys as audiences are invited to travel 'Over the Rainbow' and experience THE WIZARD OF OZ on stage.

Cabaret Lunatique, an edgy late night Saturday series of saucy burlesque, music and mischief will be presented in the Teatro ZinZanni tent on October 11 & 25, and November 8 from 11:30 p.m. - 2 a.m.
