Below are the CW Network's Primetime listings for the week of May 22nd. All times in the schedules are EST. 

The trailer for NEPTUNE FROST the visionary Sci-Fi musical from musician, poet, and artist Saul Williams and filmmaker Anisia Uzeyman and executive produced by Stephen Hendel (Finding Fela) and Lin-Manuel Miranda is available now. The film opens June 3 via Kino Lorber. Neptune Frost is described as Djibril Diop Mambéty tinged with hypnotic neon visuals and pulsating original music from Williams.

Anyway you look at it, the concept of The Vaults' Mulan Rouge – a dinner/cabaret mashup of Disney’s Mulan and musical Moulin Rouge – is both exciting and bonkers. But definitely bonkers.

Gamelan Kusuma Laras presents an evening of Javanese music for the public in the klenengan format.  An informal music event in Java, a klenèngan features musicians who gather for a kind of jam session, often arranged by a family for a special event. Typically lasting until late at night, audience members are intimately involved, integrating the social with the musical.

A Noise Within’s next production Mary Zimmerman's Metamorphoses will open May 14, 2022, with previews beginning May 8th. A re-envisioning of ancient Greek myths for a modern audience, Metamorphoses is set entirely in and around an on-stage swimming pool. ANW’s co-producing artistic director Julia Rodriguez-Elliott directs a cast of ten ANW resident artists who tackle over 85 roles in six myths: Alan Blumenfeld, DeJuan Christopher, Geoff Elliott, Rafael Goldstein, Nicole Javier, Kasey Mahaffy, Sydney A. Mason, Trisha Miller, Cassandra Marie Murphy and Erika Soto. Julia took some time from her multiple duties as Metamorphoses’ director and ANW’s co-producing artistic director to discuss Metamorphoses logistics, as well as her successful working relationship with co-producing artistic director husband Geoff Elliott.

Nothing stays still forever, the spirit of nature growing upward towards something greater. Fueled by that understanding, Doe Paoro has spent much of the last year deep in the Costa Rican jungle, exploring ways that music could activate deeper consciousness. Today, the musician, born Sonia Kreitzer, announces her new EP Divine Surrendering, due June 10 – a healing ceremony in EP form – and shares its hauntingly hymnal title-track.

EARTH + ICEAGE come to the FOX THEATRE on Tuesday, October 4, 2022. Doors open at 8:30 pm with the showat 9:00 pm. Tickets on sale at 10AM Friday, April 29th.

Tim Foley’s new play ELECTRIC ROSARY is now playing at the Royal Exchange. Bringing nuns and robots together on the Royal Exchange stage for the first time -  this brand-new piece of comedy writing was inspired by Foley’s youthful trip to a monastery with his dad, where the monks rode quad-bikes. 

After 23 years and 37 productions, Hudson Stage producers Denise Bessette and Olivia Sklar have decided it’s time they gave themselves some well-deserved R&R.

Pacific Northwest Ballet Orchestra and Seattle Opera have collaborated to present a benefit concert for Ukrainian artists. The PNB Orchestra, conducted by PNB music director Emil de Cou and Alevtina Ioffe (currently making her Seattle Opera debut with The Marriage of Figaro), will be joined by Ukrainian mezzo- soprano Olga Syniakova and others, for a performance featuring Ukrainian folk songs, A Prayer for Ukraine (Silvestrov), music by Tchaikovsky, Prokofiev and Delibes, and more.

 Numi Opera Theatre is back live after the Covid shutdown and will present, Journey Out of Darkness, on Sunday May 29, 2022, at 7:00pm at the Broad Stage 1310 11th Street in Santa Monica.

Urbano Project is excited to announce the celebratory culmination of “Who Owns the Past/Present?,” a project created by architect, activist, and researcher on the aesthetics & politics of memory Sergio Beltrán-García in collaboration with Youth Artists from the Urbano Project on May 1.
