The Herberger Theater Center is excited to announce its new Art of Celebration Concert Series featuring five concerts on The Pavilion, its new outdoor stage. Throughout the months of March and April, the Herberger Theater will present Dennis Rowland & Diana Lee, The Stakes, Phoenix Afrobeat Orchestra, HÄANA, and the Alice Tatum Band.

The Asian World Film Festival (AWFF) will be presenting a “Bruce Lee Online Tribute” to commemorate the 80th anniversary of his birth including a celebrity panel exploring his many accolades and iconic films, Friday, January 15 to Monday, January 18, 2021.

As lockdown orders begin lifting across the United States, the Asian American community is not only concerned about protecting themselves from exposure to COVID-19 but also their physical safety. Since the outbreak of the virus, hate incidents against persons of Asian descent have surged throughout the country with reports of harassment, vandalism, and violent assaults. In March, the FBI assessed that hate crime incidents against Asian Americans would likely increase due to the spread of the virus and the assumption that certain individuals may associate COVID-19 with the Asian American community.

The AA Arts Incubator Program of Asian Improv Arts Midwest (AIRMW) is pleased to announce that its historic series, 'Our Perspective: Asian American Play Readings,' continues with its second reading in 2019. The next reading is the comedic full length play Lucy and Charlie's Honeymoon by Matthew C.
