This holiday season, The Professional Performance Prep (The Prep) is making spirits a little brighter by hosting “Home for the Holidays: A Virtual Cabaret” on Saturday, December 19th and Sunday, December 20 at 7pm EST.
Though Staten Island is buzzing with theatrical events all throughout the island, one in particular includes several different stories and actors- and is playing for one night only! Vagabond Repertory Theatre Company is presenting an evening of excerpts from over 10 plays called 2020 Season Preview Night. Vagabond Repertory Theatre Company is a Staten Island based company, whose mission is to bring a professional theater experience to the entire Tri-State area. Their target audience is all ages, as they want to provide theatre for all who want to experience it.
The young dancers from the Brazilia company Ballet Paraisopolis met with young Broadway actors and participate in a tap and Broadway dance workshop with Thommie Retter, (Billy Elliot).
A Little Princess, based on the novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett, is a brand-new musical straight from London by British writing team Carl Miller (Book & Lyrics) and Marc Folan (Music & Lyrics).
Casting is set for the upcoming production of The End of Summer, at the 13th Street Theatre, which will play a two-performance engagement on July 24 at 2 & 7pm.
