Mistaken identities and foolhardy love affairs abound in The Vinegar Tree, Paul Osborn's rarely produced 1930 comedy of manners, directed by Abigail Adams and onstage at People's Light June 29 through July 24.

Articulate Theatre Company's production of Doctor Frankenstein gears up for a limited run starting November 8. Articulate is thrilled to have George Allison's new play, 'Doctor Frankenstein,' inaugurate their residency as part of the historic West End Theatre's Consortium located on the second floor of the historic Church of St. Paul and St. Andrew (263 W 86th St, New York City). People's Light wraps up summer with a music-infused production of Thornton Wilder's Our Town. Long after it won the 1938 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, Wilder's masterwork remains one of the most popular plays of all time, reminding audiences across the country that there is beauty in the ordinary.

People's Light presents For Peter Pan on Her 70th Birthday by two-time Pulitzer Prize Finalist Sarah Ruhl, featuring an all-star cast of Philadelphia favorites and directed by People's Light Executive Artistic Director Abigail Adams. Family is at the heart of Sarah Ruhl's imaginative and lyrical comedy-drama. Five middle-aged siblings crack jokes, argue politics, and mourn the death of their father over a bottle of Jameson. Ann, the eldest, reminisces about her star turn as Peter Pan at the local children's theatre fifty years ago, and leads her siblings on one final journey to Neverland, as they confront growing old and growing up. Celebrating more than 20 years of creating Shakespeare for everyone, Frog and Peach Theatre Company follows up their acclaimed production of A Midsummer Night's Dream with another classic comedy, TWELFTH NIGHT which begins performances Friday, February 22nd and opens Monday, February 25th.
