Broadway's 13-year-old star Carly Rose Sonenclar performed Etta James' 'Something's Got a Hold on Me' on last night's (October 31st) episode of 'The X Factor'. Judges Demi Lovato and L.A. Reid were less than thrilled, but Britney Spears and Simon Cowell stood behind Sonenclar's performance. See for yourself below!

Britney Spears turned X FACTOR contestant and Broadway vet Carly Rose Sonenclar into a mini her in a school girl uniform for her performance of Flo Rida's 'Good Feeling' at the first Live Show last night. Judges L.A. Reid and Demi Lovato felt she didn't have enough fun with the song. Simon Cowell disagreed commenting, 'It wold be criminal if you left the competition tomorrow. FOX, Syco and FremantleMedia announced today that actress/singer Adrienne Bailon, who is best known for her work in 3LW and the Cheetah Girls; and Jesse Giddings, a former MuchMusic Canada V.J. and musician, will join THE X FACTOR's "Pepsi PreShow Live" as hosts. Jim Cantiello, formerly of MTV News, will return for his second season as digital correspondent.

Following the conclusion of the 2012 World Series, THE X FACTOR' Top 16 acts will perform live for the first time on a special two-hour-and-seven-minute show Wednesday, Oct. 31 (8:00-10:07 PM live/ PT tape-delayed) on FOX. Hosts Khloé Kardashian Odom and Mario Lopez will take THE X FACTOR stage alongside judges Simon Cowell, Demi Lovato, Britney Spears and L.A. Reid. Then, on Thursday, Nov. 1 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), the Top Finalists will be revealed, and return the following week to face America' vote.

Today, October 30th will see the release of ROADS, the highly anticipated debut album from classical crossover artist CHRIS MANN. ROADS arrives via Faircraft/Universal Republic, a new imprint headed up by multi-platinum producer and veteran A&R executive Ron Fair (Mary J. Blige, the Black Eyed Peas, Fergie, The Pussycat Dolls, Il Volo, Christina Aguilera), who also served as the album's executive producer.

Warner/Chappell Music, the global music publishing arm of Warner Music Group Corp., today announced that it has signed a worldwide co-publishing agreement with chart-topping songwriter and Los Angeles-based recording artist, Kerli Kõiv.

Broadway's Carly Rose Sonenclar is among THE X FACTOR 'Sweet 16' finalists chosen by the judges. Carly, who is twelve years old, played 'Chloe' in Broadway's 2011 'WONDERLAND- A New Alice. A New Musical.'

Repertory Philippines' take on Disney's CAMP ROCK, written by Dan Berendsen, Karin Gist, and Regina Hicks, runs from Friday, November 16 until Sunday, December 16 at Onstage, 2/F Greenbelt 1, Paseo de Roxas corner Legazpi St., Makati City. Theater stalwart Audie Gemora directs.

FOX has ordered a third season of THE X FACTOR, it was announced today by Mike Darnell, President of Alternative Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company.

Fox will extend primetime on Tuesday, October 23 to re-air that installment of THE X FACTOR that was pre-empted last week.
