X FACTOR judge Demi Lovato recently decided to take on one of the most iconic, classic, and octave-pushing holiday songs: AMERICAN IDOL judge Mariah Carey's 'All I Want for Christmas is You.' If that wasn't bold enough in itself, she sang the holiday anthem for The First Family. Her performance was part of TNT's CHRISTMAS IN WASHINGTON SPECIAL, which aired Friday night. Legendary performer Diana Ross, Smash star Megan Hilty, chart-topping recording star Demi Lovato, The Voice favorite Chris Mann and American Idol winner Scotty McCreery are set to ring in the holiday season as they come together in the nation's capital for TNT's annual CHRISTMAS IN WASHINGTON special. In addition, the concert will close with a special performance by 'Gangnam Style' sensation PSY.

Pop singer and THE X FACTOR judge Demi Lovato, and country superstars LeAnn Rimes and Little Big Town join the Top Three finalists for special duets during the last performance of the season tonight, Wednesday, Dec. 19 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX. Lovato joins Fifth Harmony, Rimes pairs up with Carly Rose Sonenclar and Little Big Town performs with Tate Stevens.

MTV today announced One Direction (OneDirection.MTV.com) has been selected by its team of music staffers as 2012's Artist of the Year, ending a week long multiscreen celebration in which Carly Rae Jepsen's (CarlyRaeJepsen.MTV.com) Call Me Maybe was named Song of the Year.

Carly Rose Sonenclar demonstrated that she has more in her bag of tricks than just a stellar singing voice. The 13-year-old played the piano as she sang a moving version of the John Lennon classic, 'Imagine' on last night's THE X FACTOR.
