A Noise Within to Hold Sunday Rush Performance of ANNA IN THE TROPICS

A Noise Within (ANW), California’s acclaimed classic repertory theatre company, announces the fifth production of its 30th anniversary season, Nilo Cruz’s Pulitzer Prize-winning drama, Anna in the Tropics, directed by ANW’s Director of Cultural Programming Jonathan Muñoz-Proulx (he/him).  The play runs now through April 17, 2022, with a Sunday Rush performance on April 10 at 7:00 p.m. All remaining tickets for the Sunday evening performance are $25. Tickets are available online now for the performance with the code SUNDAYRUSH while selecting seats OR mention “SUNDAY RUSH” after 2 p.m. on the day of the performance at the box office window.

Pasadena's Free Reading Festival Returns July 26-28!

A Noise Within (ANW) is proud to announce the return of its Words Within Resident Artist Reading Festival from July 26 through July 28, 2019. ANW will partner with three Los Angeles-based theatre companies, Lower Depth Theatre Ensemble, East West Players, and Latino Theater Company, for the free reading festival, titled inVision. A Noise Within and its festival partners will produce eight staged readings over the course of three days at ANW's East Pasadena campus. This is the second reading festival ANW has produced. ANW's first reading festival, The American Dream, launched the classic repertory theatre company's 25th anniversary season when it premiered in summer 2016. The festival is an extension of ANW's popular Words Within reading series, which began over 10 years ago and to date has produced 46 staged reading performances by the company's resident artists.

The Laugh Factory Is Open For Business - NOISES OFF Returns!

A Noise Within (ANW), California's acclaimed classic repertory theatre, is bringing back its smash hit production of Michael Frayn's hilarious off-the-wall comedy Noises Off for a limited engagement from May 21 through June 9, 2019. Reviving a critical and audience favorite for all to enjoy, ANW Producing Artistic Directors Julia Rodriguez-Elliott and Geoff Elliott will once again direct the play-within-a-play that pays homage to the art of theatre-making as chaos reigns onstage and off! There will be press performances on Saturday, May 25 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, May 26 at 2 p.m.

A Noise Within Presents Tennessee Williams' Great American Play THE GLASS MENAGERIE

A Noise Within,  California's acclaimed classic repertory theatre, is proud to present the play that made Tennessee Williams a household name, The Glass Menagerie. ANW Producing Artistic Director Geoff Elliott will direct the great American play that made its debut in Chicago in 1944 and a year later earned Williams the New York Drama Critic's Circle Award when it moved to Broadway. The Glass Menagerie performs from Feb. 24 through April 26. Previews begin Feb. 24 and press opening night is March 2.

Charles Dickens' Presents A CHRISTMAS CAROL At ANW

A Noise Within (ANW), the acclaimed classical repertory theatre company, continues the cherished holiday tradition of presenting its well-loved production of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol this year, onstage for the seventh holiday season. This time-honored tale of forgiveness plays 17 performances only, Saturday, December 1 through Sunday, December 23, 2018. After the show, audience members are invited to enjoy a cup of cider and take photos with the cast.

A Noise Within most successfully revives their 2011 audience favorite, Michael Frayn's 1982 NOISES OFF. ANW CalTech's Julia Greer Symposium on Madwoman Oct 26 at 6:30pm

A Noise Within (ANW) announces a special, second symposium during the run of their second production of the 2017-2018 season, The Madwoman of Chaillot by Jean Giraudoux and translated by Maurice Valency. On Thursday, October 26th at 6:30 pm, California Institute of Technology (CalTech) Professor Dr. Julia R. Greer brings A Noise Within a special symposium addressing the scientific aspects of The Madwoman of Chaillot.
