Billboard chart-topping Jazz artist Deborah Silver announces the release of her brand new single “That Old Black Magic” from her upcoming full-length release Glitter & Grits (NTL Records).

Tapping Grammy winners Steve Tyrell and Alan Broadbent to respectively produce (with Jon Allen) and arrange the track, Silver and Freddy Cole's enchanting “Orange Colored Sky” dropped Monday as a single.

There were many places around the world where the music of The Great American Songbook was being performed last night, but none more significant than the concert celebrating the 5th Anniversary of Dick Robinson's Legends Radio 100.3FM, the most successful privately owned radio station in the United States.

Lynn University was host to the 2012 final presidential debate between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney and tickets were of course very difficult to obtain for the 'entertaining' evening and the wait list was long. For last night's performance by songstress Deborah Silver tickets were also difficult to obtain with a long wait list, however there was no debate about the display of talents by the Florida based entertainer.

Billy Stritch recently sailed from his usual NYC docks at The Carlyle and Birdland and was welcomed by hundreds of music connoisseurs on the Shores of Velencia and Frenchman's Creek Beach Club in Florida. The show at Velencia Shores was headlined,'Billy Stritch & Friends' and the super singer friends that Billy brought along were Deborah Silver, Emmanuelle Adda and Josh Young. Jim Caruso, Billy's special good friend and partner in all things musical fun also joined him for the special Florida entertainment event.

Palm Beach notables Rob Russell & Michael Masci joined forces to have a 'soft unofficial opening' of the Palm Beach music season with a one night only performance at Cafe Centro in West Palm Beach last night and Broadwayworld was there.

It was night that will long be remembered by fans (and who isn't) of Marilyn Maye and of American Songbook hero, Dick Robinson. Marilyn is currently celebrating her 90th year with her current engagement at Feinstein's/54 Below and her friend DIck Robinson, creator of Legends Radio and founder of the Connecticut School of Broadcasting is celebrating his 80th.

Lucie and Desi both brought the Boca Raton audience to it's feet last night as Lucie Arnaz brought the music and story of her parents, Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz to the stage of producer Jan McCart's Live at Lynn series at Lynn University.

Legendary entertainer Tony Bennett was honored by the Friars Club in celebration of his storied and successful career that has spanned 7 decades on June 20th and BroadwayWorld was there.

Jerry's 90th Birthday Party soon became a telethon of happiness as the Friars evening unfolded.  The pledges given to Jerry Lewis were of love and respect and they came from his fellow Friars and entertainers jam packed into the Frank Sinatra Dining Room.  The amount of laughs in the club even created a new total of hysterics for an institution that has been the home of much laughter during its storied show biz history.

Dick Robinson and his Legends Radio Station broadcasting out of Palm Beach to a world wide audience presented Ann Hampton Callaway in a concert which supported the Society For The Preservation Of The Great American Songbook at Eissey Campus Theatre in Palm Beach Florida last night and BroadwayWorld was there.  Check out the photos below.
