American Repertory Theater has announced the creative team and cast of Moby-Dick, with music, lyrics, book, and orchestrations by Dave Malloy, developed with and directed by Tony Award-winner Rachel Chavkin.

Harley & Co. announces principal casting for As Much As I Can, a unique and powerful piece of activist, experiential theatre by Sarah Hall and directed by James Andrew Walsh. As Much As I Can will play 10 performances at Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette Street) from September 12-16 (two shows nightly at 7:00 and 9:30 PM).Produced by Harley & Co., and supported by ViiV Healthcare, the production is designed by Harley & Co. Additional casting is to be announced.

Pan Asian Repertory Theatre, with a prestigious grant and support from the National Endowment for the Arts, continues the 2018-2019 season with the World Premiere of the play The Brothers Paranormal, by Prince Gomolvilas.  Directed by Jeff Liu, the six-member features Brian D. Coats as Felix, Josephine Huang as Noi, Vin Kridakorn as Max, Emily Kuroda as Tasanee, Dawn L. Troupe as Delia, and Roy Vongtama as Visarut.

Broadway in the Finger Lakes is at it again in bringing a new and creative musical to audiences at Merry-Go-Round Playhouse, a theatrical gem located in Auburn's beautiful Emerson Park. The new musical Anne of Green Gables: A new Folk Rock Musical comes to the theatre directly from four sold out performances in Broadway in the Finger Lakes' 2017 theatre series, The PiTCH. Broadway's newest intimate concert venue – has announced the solo debut of Mykal Kilgore, the celebrated vocalist from The Wiz Live! on NBC TV, Postmodern Jukebox, Motown on Broadway and more, for a two night concert engagement Friday, March 9 at 9:30 PM and Saturday, March 10 at 7:00 PM. These shows will feature original music from Mykal's upcoming album and covers of some of music's most heralded pop favorites with a Kilgore twist. After performances for “The View,” the Mayor of New York, and Brooklyn Nets, these live intimate shows powerfully return Kilgore to the concert stage.

California Shakespeare Theater continues its 43rd Season with the West Coast premiere of black odyssey, a thrilling and music-infused new play that mashes up Greek mythology and African-American folklore. black odyssey marks the Cal Shakes debut of Oakland native Marcus Gardley (The House That Will Not Stand at Berkeley Rep), and is only the second production ever of the play, which is being re-set in Oakland for Cal Shakes. Directed by Cal Shakes Artistic Director Eric Ting, fresh from directing Berkeley Rep's smash hit An Octoroon, the production will also feature vocal compositions by Linda Tillery and Molly Holm.

Aurora Theatre Company presents the West Coast Premiere of Keith Josef Adkins'SAFE HOUSE. African-American Shakespeare Company Artistic Director L. Peter Callender, who appeared in the Aurora Theatre Company productions of "Master Harold…and the boys," Breakfast With Mugabe, The Soldier's Tale, and Permanent Collection, makes his Aurora directing debut with SAFE HOUSE, featuring Lance Gardner, David Everett Moore, Dawn L. A glittering group representing theatre and technology worlds celebrated a beautiful friendship Saturday night when TheatreWorks, the nationally acclaimed theatre of Silicon Valley, staged its annual TheatreWorks Honors gala June 21 at the Palo Alto Hills Golf and Country Club, this year paying tribute to Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Award-winning Broadway composer Andrew Lippa (The Wild Party, The Addams Family, Big Fish) and Ray Rothrock, Partner Emeritus of pioneering venture capital firm Venrock.
