Theatre Ariel and Philadelphia Artists' Collective will present Israel Zangwill's 1908 play at Arch Street Meeting House, revisiting the work that popularized America's 'melting pot' metaphor and examining its meaning today.
Everyday Inferno Theatre Company is thrilled to announce their production of Carol Lashof's The Melting Pot will play a limited run at The Access Theater in March.
It is chilling to think that The Melting Pot, a play that revolves around anti-Semitism in America and Europe, was first performed in 1908, decades before the atrocity of the Holocaust.
In a rediscovery commissioned by the Finborough Theatre, The Melting Pot by Israel Zangwill runs at the Finborough Theatre, playing Sunday and Monday evenings and Tuesday matinees from Sunday, 3 December 2017.
