Professional theaters from across Michigan will share the spotlight August 19 when The 2013 Wilde Awards are presented at The Berman Center for the Performing Arts in the Detroit suburb of West Bloomfield. Presented by EncoreMichigan.com, the most comprehensive resource for news and information about the state's professional theater industry, The Wilde Awards were established by Pride Source Media Group in 2002 to honor the excellent work produced by Michigan's professional theaters.

Duo Multicultural Arts Center (DMAC) is pleased to present MADboots dance co. as part of PRIDE @ DMAC (June 16-22). After an eight-week residency at DMAC this Spring, MADboots Co-artistic Directors Jonathan Campbell and Austin Diaz return to the historic Duo Theater to perform works that wowed the dance community this past May. MADboots will perform on Wednesday, June 19 & Thursday, June 20, 2013, 8PM. Admission is $10.

The Williamston Theatre, mid-Michigan's award winning professional theatre company located at 122 S. Putnam Street in downtown Williamston, brings its Tuna Trilogy to a climactic conclusion with Tuna Does Vegas by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears and Ed Howard. Randy James' new dance company, 10 Hairy Legs, will have its New York City Debut at New York Live Arts, May 30, 31, June 1 at 7:30 pm and June 2 at 2:00 pm.

New York Live Arts announces the 2013 Theater Access Program - a comprehensive rental program that provides performance space and resources to a diverse group of self-producing artists of all disciplines. This year's artists include (in order of appearance) 10 Hairy Legs, Ellen Robbins, NuMoRune Collaborative, Makeda Thomas, Elisa Monte Dance and Jennifer Muller/The Works, Amanda Selwyn Dance Theatre and Joseph Mills for Modern American Dance Company.

Over Valentine's Day weekend Joe's Pub hosted Dance Now, which presented an imaginative trio of performances, Dorothy, Annie, Maria Together. Each work gave a new twist to those well-known musicals The Wiz, Annie Get Your Gun and The Sound of Music. New York City's "Best Tiny Stage" exploded with energy, creativity, and humor as these Broadway classics were revived for a contemporary audience.

The KamiKaze FireFlies are a Los Angeles based tw0-person vaudeville smack-down featuring Rob Williams (formerly of the renowned comedy troupe The Flaming Idiots) and Casey Martin (formerly of the acrobatic show Barely Balanced).

FOCUS 2013, a celebration of U.S.-based dance presented by Gotham Arts Exchange, introduces a new program and stage to its annual platform, FOCUS 2013: FOCAL POINT, comprised of three programs each curated by a different dance artist. FOCAL POINT will be presented on Friday, January 11 at 8pm; Saturday, January 12 at 4pm; and Sunday, January 13 at 4pm at The Ailey Citigroup Theater, 405 W. 55th Street, NYC. Randy James' new dance company, 10 Hairy Legs, will have its World Debut at The Theatre at Raritan Valley Community College today, November 25, 2012 at 2:00 pm. Originally scheduled for November 3, 2012, it was postponed due to Hurricane Sandy.
