40th Annual Daytime Entertainment Creative Arts Emmy Awards Set for 6/14

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) today announced that the 40th Annual Daytime Entertainment Creative Arts Emmy Awards will be held on Friday, June 14, 2013 at the Westin Bonaventure in downtown, Los Angeles, CA. The Daytime Entertainment Creative Arts Emmy Awards honors the crafts behind the many shows that grace the Daytime genre.

Nicolas Kent directs the world premiere of Tactical Questioning: Scenes from the Baha Mousa Inquiry, edited by Richard Norton-Taylor. The production, which examines the British Army's handling of detainees in Iraq and the death of Baha Mousa in 2003, will run at the Tricycle Theatre from 2 June until 2 July, with press night on 6 June 2011. Designs are by Polly Sullivan, with lighting by Charlie Hayday and sound and projections by Ed Borgnis.

Held at the popular Skirball Center in Los Angeles, the Actors Fund's 12th annual TONY Award party was completely sold out well in advance and by far the most successful year ever by raising over $125,000, which is a tribute in itself to honoree Tommy Tune and host Florence Henderson, who was on hiatus from her own program on the RLTV network entitled 'The Florence Henderson Show.'
