Cherry Lane Music Publishing Company, Inc. who represents Broadway writers including Maury Yeston, Leslie Bricusse and Jason Howland, has announced a multi-year, worldwide administration agreement for the score from Shrek The Musical, the first theatrical production from DreamWorks Theatricals. Based on William Steig's classic book and the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film, Shrek The Musical tells the story of a swamp-dwelling ogre who goes on a life-changing adventure. Cherry Lane has been music administrator for DreamWorks Animation since 1997.

Atlantic Theater Company (Neil Pepe, Artistic Director; Jeffory Lawson, Managing Director) is proud to announce the final production of its 2008-2009 season - the world premiere of Leslie Ayvazian's play MAKE ME, directed by Atlantic associate artistic director Christian Parker. The 54th Annual Drama Desk Awards were held tonight, Sunday, May 17, 2009 in the LaGuardia Concert Hall at Lincoln Center. Drama Desk nominees received their official Nomination Certificates at a cocktail reception on Friday, May 1st at Il Bastardo restaurant, 191 Seventh Avenue (between 21st and 22nd Streets).

Shrek The Musical takes you behind-the-scenes with the launch of 'This Is Our Story: Swamp to Stage,' the 10 part online video series that follows the cast and creative team of Broadway's newest hit musical on their journey to bring this story to life on stage.

Variety is reporting that Sandra Oh, Giancarlo Esposito and Jon Tenney will join Aaron Eckhart, Tammy Blanchard, Oscar winner Dianne Wiest, Miles Teller and Nicole Kidman in the big screen adaptation of David Lindsay-Abaire's Broadway play 'Rabbit Hole.'

The Drama League (Jano Herbosch, President) is pleased to announce that Jeremy Irons (Broadway's Impressionism) and Cynthia Nixon (Off-Broadway's Distracted at the Roundabout Theatre Company), who first starred together as father and daughter in the 1984 Broadway production of The Real Thing, will reunite this spring to serve as co-hosts for The 75th Annual Drama League Awards Ceremony and Luncheon.

Beginning performances on May 30, is Into the Hazard [Henry 5], a new play adapted and directed by Jessica Bauman. Adapted from William Shakespeare's 'Henry V,' this production will take place Saturday, May 30 through Saturday, June 20. Official opening set for Thursday, June 4 @ 7:00 PM.

Roundabout Theatre Company's (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director)Waiting for Godot began previews Friday, April 3rd. Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot stars (in order of speaking)Nathan Lane (Estragon), Bill Irwin (Vladimir), John Goodman (Pozzo), John Glover (Lucky) and is directed by Anthony Page at Studio 54 on Broadway.

LCT3, Lincoln Center Theater's new initiative devoted to producing work of emerging playwrights, directors and designers, has announced casting for STUNNING, the second production of its inaugural season. Sas Goldberg, Danny Mastrogiorgio, Cristin Milioti, Steven Rattazzi, Jeanine Serralles and Charlayne Woodard will be featured in STUNNING, a new play by David Adjmi, to be directed by Anne Kauffman. STUNNING will begin performances Monday, June 1 at 8pm, open Thursday, June 18 at 6:45pm and run through Saturday, June 27 at The Duke on 42nd Street, a New 42nd Street® project, (229 W. 42 Street).
