Nominations in 27 competitive categories for the American Theatre Wing's 63rd Annual Antoinette Perry 'Tony' Awards were announced by Tony Award Winners Cynthia Nixon and Lin-Manuel Miranda from the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center.

Audemars Piguet will be the presenting sponsor of the 63rd Annual Tony Awards Telecast Red Carpet on June 7th at Radio City Music Hall. Audemars Piguet, considered one of the world's finest watch manufacturers, will display eight solid aluminum clocks along this year's red carpet.

'Gingy,' the Gingerbread Man and star of the Tony-nominated Best Musical SHREK THE MUSICAL, will take fans through the Tony Award festivities live on Twitter on Sunday, June 7th. SHREK THE MUSICAL's Tony-nominated leading man Brian d'Arcy James will appear on CNBC's 'Power Lunch' on Friday, June 5th in the 1:30-2:00 p.m. half hour. James will be interviewed alongside Charlotte St. Martin, Executive Director of The Broadway League, about the successful Broadway season in advance of the Tony Awards on Sunday, June 7th. 'Power Lunch' airs nationally on CNBC (channel 15 in the tri-state area). Check local listings.

The cast of the Tony-nominated Best Musical SHREK THE MUSICAL will appear on a SHREK-themed episode of the Food Network 'Challenge' premiering Sunday, June 7th at 8pm. To commemorate SHREK THE MUSICAL's 100th performance, four contestants were given the task of baking a celebratory cake, each based on one character from the musical - Shrek, Donkey, Fiona and Lord Farquaad.

On Tuesday, June 2nd, The Cast of the Tony-nominated Best Musical SHREK THE MUSICAL performed live on CBS 'The Early Show.' Daniel Breaker with Jennifer Cody, Sarah Jane Everman and Lisa Ho sang 'Make a Move' in the 8:30-9:00 a.m. half hour. Tony-nominee Brian d'Arcy James also appeared on the show. 'The Early Show' airs nationally on CBS (channel 2, WCBS in the tri-state area).

On behalf of the Kleban Foundation, New Dramatists presented the 19th Annual Kleban Award for the most promising musical theater lyricist has to Beth Falcone and the award for the most promising musical theater librettist has to Kait Kerrigan. The 2009 awards were presented on June 1, 2009, in a private ceremony at BMI.

LCT3, Lincoln Center Theater's new initiative devoted to producing work of emerging playwrights, directors and designers, has announced casting for STUNNING, the second production of its inaugural season. Sas Goldberg, Danny Mastrogiorgio, Cristin Milioti, Steven Rattazzi, Jeanine Serralles and Charlayne Woodard will be featured in STUNNING, a new play by David Adjmi, to be directed by Anne Kauffman. STUNNING will begin performances Monday, June 1 at 8pm, open Thursday, June 18 at 6:45pm and run through Saturday, June 27 at The Duke on 42nd Street, a New 42nd Street® project, (229 W. 42 Street).

It's the time of year where the Theatre World celebrates the best of the best and special recognition is bestowed upon certain individuals for their work. No...I am not talking about the Tony Awards...although I know where I will be that evening. I talking about the 19th Annual Kleban Awards, which will be presented in a private ceremony on June 1st, 2009.

Beginning performances on May 30, is Into the Hazard [Henry 5], a new play adapted and directed by Jessica Bauman. Adapted from William Shakespeare's 'Henry V,' this production will take place Saturday, May 30 through Saturday, June 20. Official opening set for Thursday, June 4 @ 7:00 PM.
