Under the Streetlamp is a concert celebration of classic hits of the American Radio Songbook from the 1950s-1970s.

Featuring former cast members of the Tony Award-winning Broadway sensation Jersey Boys, Under the Streetlamp returns to The Ridgefield Playhouse with a night of Doo-Wop, Motown, and old time Rock and Roll on Friday, October 5th at 8pm, part of the Ridgefield Magazine Broadway & Cabaret Series and the Pepsi Rock Series powered by Xfinity. This full-band show show includes popular songs from The Drifters, Roy Orbison, Nat King Cole, The Beach Boys, The Beatles, plus a "show-stopping" salute to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons! Media partner for this great night of song  is Connecticut Public Broadcasting.

Stars of the Tony Award-winning musical "Jersey Boys" and the stars of three PBS special are taking their considerable triple threat talents on the road and under the stars when they rock around the clock at SCERA Shell Outdoor Theatre on Monday, August 20. The foursome will present a celebration of musical hits from the 1950s through 1970s, including Doo Wop, Motown and old-time rock and roll hits.

Creative Endeavor Office announced today that the immersive concert experiences Reunion '69 and Reunion '85 begin performances on Thursday, July 26 at 7.30pm at the Elizabeth Eriksen Byron Theatre at the Robert and Judi Newman Center for the Performing Arts (2344 East Iliff Avenue).

Featuring former leading cast members of hit Broadway musicals including 'JERSEY BOYS,' Under the Streetlamp is a concert celebration of classic hits of the American Radio Songbook from the 1950s-1970s. Their shows feature tight harmonies and slick dance moves that take audiences back to an era of sharkskin suits, flashy cars and martini shakers. A flashback to a time when, on hot summer nights, people would gather under a streetlamp to sing their favorite rock and roll songs.  

Broadway In Chicago is delighted to announce the twenty-four students nominated for Best Actor and Best Actress, and nominees for Best Production presented by Guardian Music Travel, Best Direction and Best Scenic Design presented by SPL for the seventh annual Illinois High School Musical Theatre Awards. The nominees (12 young actors and 12 young actresses), selected after evaluating 80 productions across the state of Illinois, have been invited to participate in the Awards program, which will be held at the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place (175 E. On this day in 2013, the new American musical Hands on a Hardbody opened at Broadway's Brooks Atkinson Theatre.

Robbie Florian's farce, The Cadaver Synod: A Pope Musical will debut at this year's New York Musical Festival, playing from July 17 - 23 at The Acorn Theatre at Theatre Row (410 W 42nd Street). The Colorado Theatre Guild's 11th Annual Henry Awards will take place Monday, July 18, 2016 at the PACE Center, 20000 Pikes Peak Avenue in Parker, Colorado. The evening begins at 6 p.m. with cocktails and the awards ceremony will begin at 7 p.m., followed by an after-party. Back by popular demand, THE BOOK OF MORMON, which played a record breaking four week run in 2013, is pleased to announce a lottery ticket policy for the National Tour, which begins January 26 at The Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale and plays a limited two week engagement through February 7.

The Book of Mormon is an original musical that tells the story of two young Mormon missionaries who are sent to a remote village in Uganda, where they try to share one of their scriptures, The Book of Mormon (hence the title), but have trouble connecting with the locals who are more worried about war, poverty, and AIDS than religion.
