Next up at the Kitchen Theatre Company is Grounded by George Brant, a story that examines family, technology, war, and moral responsibility from a uniquely feminine perspective. Performances of Grounded begin at the Kitchen Theatre Company in the Percy Browning Performance Space on April 21st and run through May 5th. Opening night is Thursday, April 25th.

Music Theatre Wichita, entering its 48th summer season, today announced the roster of artistic teams who will be guiding the five large-scale summer productions.

The Independent Reviewers of New England (IRNE) today announced the nominees for the 23rd Annual IRNE Awards, which honor the best of the previous year's actors, directors, choreographers, designers and companies across the full spectrum of large, mid-size and fringe theater companies. Moulin Rouge!, a new musical produced by Global Creatures, and An American in Paris, produced by the Ogunquit Playhouse, led with 12 and 11 nominations, respectively, in the Large Stage Musical Category. The Huntington Theatre led all companies with 31 nominations across seven productions, including 11 for Man in the Ring, the story of six-time world champion prizefighter Emile Griffith.

CRY IT OUT: A laugh-till-you-cry comedy for anyone who's ever known a baby. Jessie can't find any Mom Friends in her new Long Island neighborhood until she and larger-than-life Lina start sneaking out for coffee between their duplexes during nap times.
