The New Broadway Cast Recording of the revival of GODSPELL will be released digitally on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 on Ghostlight Records. Produced by Stephen Schwartz, Michael Holland and Kurt Deutsch with Executive Producer Ken Davenport, the CD will be available in stores on Tuesday, January 31, 2012.

Producers of MAGIC BIRD, Fran Kirmser and Tony Ponturo, announced today the title role of Hall of Fame Basketball Player and Celtics Legend Larry Bird will be played by Tug Coker. Tug Coker will be making his Broadway debut with the role of Larry Bird.

The 40th Anniversary production and first-ever Broadway revival of Stephen Schwartz's rock musical GODSPELL officially opened at the Circle in the Square Theater on November 7. BroadwayWorld has confirmed Twitter reports that the Chigo cast of MILION DOLLAR QUARTET will make an appearance on OWN's 'The Rosie Show' on December 6, and Broadway's GODSPELL will stop by to perform on December 8. As the hit new musical BRING IT ON: THE MUSICAL entered its final two weeks of performances this past weekend in Los Angeles, several celebrity guests were in attendance at the Ahmanson Theatre.
