Granite Theatre of Westerly, will be holding auditions for the Ken Ludwig's hilarious new farce "A Comedy of Tenors". The auditions are Monday and Tuesday April 16 & 17, 2018 at 7pm at the theatre, 1 Granite Street, Westerly, RI. The show is directed by Lee Rush. Artistic Director for the theatre is David Jepson. There are 14 performances for the show between June 29 and July 22, 2018.

"Dial M for Murder" is opening March 23 at the Granite Theatre.  The show is a classic thriller. Alfred Hitchcock turned it into a cinematic blockbuster that captivated audiences.  An outstanding cast thrusts the audience into the middle of this psychologically immersive thriller. 'A Christmas Survival Guide,' conceived and written by James Hindman and Ray Roderick with musical arrangements by John Glaudin, is opening December 1 at the Granite Theatre. The show is chock-full of songs, vignettes, advice and enough messages about the 'true meaning of Christmas' to get one through the holidays without therapy sessions. The Granite Theatre of Westerly, announces the opening of the musical Jesus Christ Superstar , music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice. The show that changed the musical theatre world 45 years ago about a man who changed the world 2000 years ago! 'One Man, Two Guvnors' by Richard Bean opens August 4 at the Granite Theatre.  The show is a hilarious farce from Broadway's recent 2012 season that propelled James Cordon (Late Late Show and Carpool Karaoke) to stardom.

CALENDAR GIRLS is a charming story about some Yorkshire women who think outside the box in order to raise money to celebrate one of their late husbands.  The ladies of the Women's Institute sell a calendar every year as a fundraiser, but the calendar is usually pictures of local churches or similar.  This time, they decide to get a bit risque', but also run the risk of running afoul of the head of the national Women's Institute.  It's a charming play that is genuinely funny, and the cast of the Granite Theatre are clearly enthusiastic, unfortunately the production is marred by numerous technical elements that normally an audience doesn't even notice, but when they do, it creates something that's hard to watch.

The Granite Theatre of Westerly, announces the opening of Tim Firth's delightful comedy "Calendar Girls" is the true and "revealing story" of a women's group in England who decided to drop everything to raise money for a new settee for the hospital waiting room in honor of one's husband who died of leukemia.  The news of the "alternative calendar" charitable venture spread like wildfire and ultimately raised over a million dollars.  Alternately dazzlingly funny and shamelessly sentimental this delightful play tells the story of their journey.  The show opens Friday June 30, 2017 and runs Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm through July 30, 2017.   Producer/ Artistic Director for the theatre is David Jepson.

The Granite Theatre of Westerly, announces the opening of Stephen Temperley's comedy with music 'Souvenir' the hilarious, true story of Florence Foster Jenkins, the infamous grand dame of the 1930's high society and arguably one of the worst singing voices of all time. It was a very recent highly acclaimed movie that starred Meryl Streep and Hugh Grant. The show opens Friday May 26, 2017 and runs Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm through June 18, 2017. Producer/ Artistic Director for the theatre is David Jepson.
