Iconic Disco Group, Village People have found themselves in a middle of a court room battle that has caused an angry and confused fanbase. In 1987 the original members of Village People decided to revive the group after a hiatus.

Disco and now pop culture icons Village People are celebrating 37 years as a group with the release of their first new single in 25 years.

The Village People, the disco group first formed in 1977 which has since gone on to become a pop culture fixture, may be headed to Broadway.

To celebrate the Gay Pride Parade today, music legend and village people icon Randy Jones will be renewing his vows after 25 years with his partner today June 27 at O'Caseys Lounge (22 East 41st St.) It is half a block from the parade route.
