Music and Lyrics by Pete Townshend, Book by Pete Townshend and Des McAnuff, Additional Music and Lyrics by John Entwistle and Keith Moon.

The One-Minute Play Festival (Dominic D'Andrea, Producing Artistic Director & Caitlin Wees, Associate Producer) and Actor's Express (Freddie Ashley, Artistic Director & Alex Scollon, Managing Director) have created a dynamic partnership for The 4th Atlanta One-minute Play Festival with part of the proceeds to benefit artist residency and educational programing.

?Come see CHINGLISH, a new comedy about the misadventures of miscommunication, opening in June at Palo Alto Players.  This comedy was written by David Henry Hwang, the award-winning playwright of M. Butterfly.

The Chicago Tribune writes that PJ Paparelli, artistic director of Chicago's American Theater Company for seven years, died today, May 21, 2015 following a car accident while on vacation in Scotland earlier this week. He was 40.

Second Stage Theatre welcomes film star Amanda Seyfried (Les Miserables, Dear John, Mamma Mia!, upcoming Ted 2 and Pan) in her off-Broadway debut opposite Thomas Sadoski (The Newsroom, Wild, upcoming in NBC's The Slap) in the world premiere production of NEIL LaBUTE's drama, The Way We Get By. Directed by Tony nominee LEIGH SILVERMAN, the production began previews on April 28, 2015 and officially opens tonight, May 19, 2015 at Second Stage Theatre, 305 West 43rd Street.

The American Theatre Wing and the Village Voice just presented the winners of the 60th Annual OBIE Awards. The Public Theater's Hamilton by Lin-Manuel Miranda (including special citations for Andy Blankenbuehler, Thomas Kail, and Alex Lacamoire) received the OBIE Award for Best New American Theatre Work, which is accompanied by a $1,000 check. The Signature Theatre's Founding Artistic Director James Houghton received the OBIE Award for Sustained Achievement. 'The Who's TOMMY' was originally produced on Broadway by Pace Theatrical Group and Dodger Productions with Kardana Productions. The production is directed by Snehal Desai (EWP's 'A Nice Indian Boy') with musical direction by Marc Macalintal (EWP's 'Chess,' 'Krunk Fu Battle Battle') and choreography by Janet Roston (Ovation Award and NAACP Award winner for 'The Color Purple' at Celebration Theatre). Generous support for this production is provided by the S. Mark Taper Foundation Endowment for East West Players.

The Harold and Mimi Steinberg Charitable Trust today announced that the Eighth Annual 'Mimi' Awards will be presented on Monday, November 16, 2015 at Lincoln Center Theater.  The 'Mimi' Awards are presented biennially to honor the accomplishments of some of the most gifted up-and-coming American playwrights.
