The Players Club of Swarthmore Presents COMPANY

To open the new year, The Players Club of Swarthmore presents Company, a witty musical look at marriage and relationships. Company features music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim (A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to The Forum, Sweeney Todd, Sunday in the Park with George, Assassins). Book by George Furth. SOUNDS AND SORCERY CELEBRATING DISNEY FANTASIA Ends September 30

Sounds and Sorcery celebrating Disney FANTASIA, the ground-breaking hit show inspired by the 1940 Disney animation must end its strictly limited London run on 30 September. The Vaults' latest immersive show has been casting a spell over audiences this summer with its unique installations, theatrical performances and technical wizardry bringing to life the world's most iconic classical music in a modern reimagining of Fantasia.

Hedonistic 1920's TWELFTH NIGHT Opens This Week At Wilton's Music Hall

Following the success of its run at The Watermill and its UK and international tour last year, The Watermill Ensemble will revive TWELFTH NIGHT at Wilton's Music Hall from 12 to 22 September. Renowned for its bold, progressive and collaborative approach to Shakespeare, The Watermill Ensemble re-imagines TWELFTH NIGHT in the hedonistic 1920s, where prohibition is rife. Fused with innovative staging and actor-musicianship, the radical spirit of Duke Ellington and Ella Fitzgerald collides with the contemporary influence of Postmodern Jukebox to create a dizzying and beautiful version of Shakespeare's perfect play.

The Watermill Transfers TWELFTH NIGHT and BURKE AND HARE Announce Casting

The Watermill Theatre will transfer two productions to London this autumn. Production images are today released for The Vaults' highly anticipated immersive show, Sounds and Sorcery celebrating Disney FANTASIA ahead of its opening night this evening. In their latest production inspired by the ground-breaking 1940 Disney animation, The Vaults presents a reimagining of the many worlds of Fantasia featuring a Grecian Disco Palace, pre-historic volcanic wasteland, mirrored waterfall, human fishtank, and mystical forest among the sights. The production runs at the Vaults beneath Waterloo until 30 September.

The Vaults today announces its new experience Sounds and Sorcery celebrating Disney Fantasia, a brand new immersive experience which will open this summer, in the year Mickey Mouse celebrates his 90th anniversary. Inspired by the classic 1940 Disney film, a series of unique installations will bring some of the world's most iconic classical music to life in a multi-sensory experience. The production will open 3 July, with opening night for press on 11 July.

Players Club Of Swarthmore Presents LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS

Just in time for Valentine's Day, The Players Club of Swarthmore presents the botanical, sci-fi, musical comedy love story Little Shop of Horrors, Feb. 9-24, for 10 performances on the PCS Main Stage at 614 Fairview Ave., Swarthmore. Eddie Donlevie directs along with musical director Pat D'Amato and choreographer Emily Aaron Fishman.

Moliere's TARTUFFE to Return to the West End

Inspired by current world events, a new adaptation of Moli re's classic comedy Tartuffe is set to premiere as the West End's first dual language theatre production, performed in both English and French. The seventeenth century comedy moves to America, where a French film tycoon finds his life uprooted by a radical American evangelist.

Kennedy Center Announces Participants for 19th Annual Betty Carter's Jazz Ahead

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts today announced the participants in Betty Carter's Jazz Ahead (BCJA)-the international jazz residency, performance, and composition project discovering and presenting the next generation of jazz greats-to be held March 20-31, 2017 at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. Led by Kennedy Center Artistic Director for Jazz Jason Moran, the Jazz Ahead program identifies outstanding, emerging jazz artists/composers in their mid-teens to age 25 and brings them together under the tutelage of experienced artists/instructors who coach and counsel them, polishing their performance, composing, and arranging skills.

Full Casting Announced for MADAME RUBINSTEIN at Park Theatre

Park Theatre's Artistic Director Jez Bond will direct Miriam Margolyes, Frances Barber and Jonathan Forbes in the world premiere of Madame Rubinstein, a brand new comedy by John Misto, playing at Park Theatre from 26 April - 27 May, with a press night on 3 May.

The Watermill Theatre Announces Cast of TWELFTH NIGHT

Artistic and Executive Director, Paul Hart today announces the company for his new production of Twelfth Night continuing The Watermill Theatre's bold, ensemble driven approach to Shakespeare. Twelfth Night runs from 6 April to 6 May and in repertoire with Hart's 2016 production of Romeo + Juliet from 18 to 22 July. Both productions will tour nationally from Tuesday 16 May to Thursday 3 August
