Casting details are announced for the Royal Shakespeare Company's productions of King John and A Museum in Baghdad opening in the Swan Theatre this winter.

Director of Soho Estates Fawn James and Artistic Director Rachel Edwards together announce the opening programme for the Boulevard as the newly-reimagined venue opens its doors to the public for the first time in October 2019. The first show will be the London premiere of Dave Malloy's celebrated song cycle Ghost Quartet brought to life by the team behind the recent hit production of Sweeney Todd which won great acclaim in London and New York. Ghost Quartet will run alongside a packed roster of late-night and Sunday performances of cabaret, improv, jazz, comedy, classical music and poetry. Final casting and creative team are today announced for the eagerly anticipated UK premiere of Afterglow at Southwark Playhouse.

Ben Rimalower will return to Los Angeles with his acclaimed long-running solo plays, PATTI ISSUES (about his obsession with Broadway diva Patti LuPone and his relationship with his troubled gay father) and BAD WITH MONEY (about how an addiction to spending beyond his means has driven him to extreme lengths all his life). Los Angeles performances will be Casita Del Campo's Cavern Club Celebrity Theater (1920 Hyperion Ave. Los Angeles, CA 90027) on Tuesday, March 26. To open the new year, The Players Club of Swarthmore presents Company, a witty musical look at marriage and relationships. Company features music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim (A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to The Forum, Sweeney Todd, Sunday in the Park with George, Assassins). Book by George Furth. Billy Postlethwaite will return to The Watermill Theatre to play the lead role in Shakespeare's MACBETH it is announced today. Postlethwaite's credits include Stanhope in Journey's End for The Watermill, The Madness of King George (Nottingham Playhouse), Chernobyl (HBO/Sky) and Game Of Thrones (HBO).

Sounds and Sorcery celebrating Disney FANTASIA, the ground-breaking hit show inspired by the 1940 Disney animation must end its strictly limited London run on 30 September. Fused with innovative staging and actor-musicianship, the radical spirit of Duke Ellington and Ella Fitzgerald collides with the contemporary influence of Postmodern Jukebox to create a dizzying and beautiful version of Shakespeare's perfect play.

Production images are today released for The Vaults' highly anticipated immersive show, Sounds and Sorcery celebrating Disney FANTASIA ahead of its opening night this evening. In their latest production inspired by the ground-breaking 1940 Disney animation, The Vaults presents a reimagining of the many worlds of Fantasia featuring a Grecian Disco Palace, pre-historic volcanic wasteland, mirrored waterfall, human fishtank, and mystical forest among the sights. The production runs at the Vaults beneath Waterloo until 30 September.

This year, The Vaults celebrated its fifth birthday. It's a milestone that will culminate in our most ambitious project to date, Sounds and Sorcery Celebrating Disney Fantasia.

The Watermill Ensemble will be joined by Tyrone Huntley in the role of Lysander and Sophie Stone as Hermia for A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM by William Shakespeare, directed by Artistic Director, Paul Hart. Also joining the Ensemble are Eva Feiler (Puck), Lillie Flynn (Helena) and Joey Hickman (Demetrius). Fusing actor-musicianship with one of Shakespeare's great comedies, the production runs at the theatre from Today 10 May to Saturday 16 June.

The Vaults today announces its new experience Sounds and Sorcery celebrating Disney Fantasia, a brand new immersive experience which will open this summer, in the year Mickey Mouse celebrates his 90th anniversary. Inspired by the classic 1940 Disney film, a series of unique installations will bring some of the world's most iconic classical music to life in a multi-sensory experience. The production will open 3 July, with opening night for press on 11 July.

Just in time for Valentine's Day, The Players Club of Swarthmore presents the botanical, sci-fi, musical comedy love story Little Shop of Horrors, Feb. 9-24, for 10 performances on the PCS Main Stage at 614 Fairview Ave., Swarthmore. Eddie Donlevie directs along with musical director Pat D'Amato and choreographer Emily Aaron Fishman.

The seventeenth century comedy moves to America, where a French film tycoon finds his life uprooted by a radical American evangelist.

The world premiere of Swamp Studios' site-specific, immersive Indian noir, Night at the Bombay Roxy, directed by Eduard Lewis, will run until 14 December at the as-yet-unopened Dishoom restaurant in the iconic Barkers Building in Kensington, London.
