Enter the decadent world of the Bombay Roxy, where the jazz is 'hot' and the atmosphere is heady... Swamp Studios has announced that its brand new, site-specific production, Night at the Bombay Roxy, will extend its run at the as-yet-unopened Dishoom restaurant in the iconic Barkers Building in Kensington, London, due to overwhelming popular demand. Swamp Studios has just announced the full cast and creative team for Night at the Bombay Roxy, a rich, immersive Indian noir, set in the beautiful surroundings of the as-yet-unopened Dishoom restaurant in the iconic Barkers Building in Kensington, London, from 27 November until 11 December.

After the success of recent productions, The Watermill's Artistic Director, Paul Hart, will form a resident Shakespeare company at the theatre.

The network announced today that Georgeown University sociology professor and author Michael Ericc Dyson will replace Senator Al Franken as a guest on the episode. Yesterday, a spokesperson for Franken told the Huffington Post that the senator would no longer appear, following backlash over Mmaher's use of the 'N' word on last Friday's show.

Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts today announced the participants in Betty Carter's Jazz Ahead (BCJA)-the international jazz residency, performance, and composition project discovering and presenting the next generation of jazz greats-to be held March 20-31, 2017 at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. Led by Kennedy Center Artistic Director for Jazz Jason Moran, the Jazz Ahead program identifies outstanding, emerging jazz artists/composers in their mid-teens to age 25 and brings them together under the tutelage of experienced artists/instructors who coach and counsel them, polishing their performance, composing, and arranging skills.

Artistic and Executive Director, Paul Hart today announces the company for his new production of Twelfth Night continuing The Watermill Theatre's bold, ensemble driven approach to Shakespeare. Twelfth Night runs from 6 April to 6 May and in repertoire with Hart's 2016 production of Romeo + Juliet from 18 to 22 July. Both productions will tour nationally from Tuesday 16 May to Thursday 3 August

This summer The Old Vic Community Company presents RISE. 200 Londoners will take over a brand new pop-up venue on Waterloo Millennium Green to present a kaleidoscope of ideas, discussions and stories that distil into a human, personal story exploring our relationship with the environment. RISE runs 10 to 21 August, and tickets are released on 22 June.

Young People's Theatre (YPT) has been overwhelmed by public response to the musical, Jacob Two-Two Meets the Hooded Fang, announcing today the run would be extended due to demand. Originally slated to run from November 16th to December 20th, the show will now run right through the holidays, to January 3rd. A signature production in YPT's history, this action-packed musical - the company's most-produced show and amongst its most beloved - will feature new music and lyrics by the talented young song-writing duo, Britta and Anika Johnson.
