The Players Club of Swarthmore Presents COMPANY

To open the new year, The Players Club of Swarthmore presents Company, a witty musical look at marriage and relationships. Company features music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim (A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to The Forum, Sweeney Todd, Sunday in the Park with George, Assassins). Book by George Furth. Company is directed and choreographed by Eddie Donlevie. Music direction is by Pat D'Amato. Tickets are available online at www.pcstheater.org. For group rates, contact groupsales@pcstheater.org.

Company follows perennial bachelor Bobby (Eric Carter-Thompson, Garnet Valley) on his 35th birthday, as his five married couple friends gather to celebrate. Their interactions are presented in a series of vignettes. In each vignette, Bobby gets and shares an intimate look at their various relationships while they look back at him and his carefree independence with a good bit of envy. The show is Sondheim at his brilliant and often caustic best, featuring a treasure trove of unforgettable numbers including "Company," "Being Alive, " "The Ladies Who Lunch," "Marry Me a Little," "Side by Side by Side", and more.

Additional cast members in Company include Katie Elizabeth Hughes, Philadelphia: Anthony Sinigaglio, Penns Grove, N.J.; Sophie Hirsch, Linwood, N.J.; Matthew Prince, Media; Angela Dalecki, Wilmington, Del.; David Gregory, Norristown; Laura Baron, Drexel Hill; Jonathan Polanco, Hamilton, N.J.; Amy Walton, Woodlyn; Bert Zug, Media; Ali Caiazzo, Ardmore; Meg Cranney, Philadelphia; and Carly Carman, Media.
