Tony Award winner and five-time Emmy Award nominee Phylicia Rashad will return to Broadway this winter in Manhattan Theatre Club's Broadway premiere of Skeleton Crew, written by Tony Award nominee Dominique Morisseau and directed by Tony Award winner Ruben Santiago-Hudson.

Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) have announced that Manhattan Theatre Club will present its 2021 Spring Gala, “NYC MTC: A Virtual Gala for Manhattan Theatre Club,” on Thursday, June 10 at 7:00pm ET. It will be available to view until 7:00pm ET on Monday, June 14.

Manhattan Theatre Club has announced performance dates for the two previously announced productions that will reopen MTC’s Broadway and off-Broadway stages this fall, Lackawanna Blues and Morning Sun.

Seth Sikes will return to The Mansion of Saratoga in Rock City Falls, NY, on Friday, May 21 for one performance only. The show, called Runnin’ Wild, will feature Seth singing favorites from the Great American Songbook, including classics by Judy Garland, Barbra Streisand, and Liza Minnelli.

New Repertory Theatre has announced the appointment of the Boston-based and award-winning theatre producer and director M. Bevin O’Gara as its Interim Executive Artistic Director effective April 5, 2021. O’Gara succeeds Michael J. Williamstown Theatre Festival announced today that the 2021 WTF Gala will take place virtually on Wednesday, April 7. In the winter of 2022, MTC will present the Broadway premiere of Skeleton Crew. Also in Winter 2022, Off-Broadway at New York City Center Stage I, MTC plans to present the world premiere of Prayer For The French Republic.

Signature Theatre has announced today that their 2021-22 Season will feature five works by five Resident Playwrights, including a production by Signature's Residency 1 playwright Anna Deavere Smith, world premiere plays from Residency 5 playwrights Annie Baker, Branden Jacobs-Jenkins, Samuel D. Hunter & a New York premiere by Dominique Morisseau.
