Dixon Place's commission CHASE: WHAT MATTERS MOST?, by the Award-winning ANIMALS performance group, will have its world premiere tonight, October 9th at 7:30 PM.

To benefit their 2016 return to their East Village home, Performance Space 122 (PS122) and Executive Producer Anson Mount bring together widely acclaimed playwright Eric Bogosian and director Jo Bonney, along with their close friends, for two-nights of hand-selected, intimate performances from Bogosian's 100 Monologues series.

Dixon Place's dance commission, Mark Dendy Project's WHISTLEBLOWER, written, choreographed and directed by Bessie and Obie award winner Mark Dendy, will have its world premiere tonight, September 11th at 7:30 PM. With his company of dancers and original music by Heather Christian, Dendy, explores the actions and sexual orientation of renowned dissident Bradley/Chelsea Manning.

Necessary Exposure: The Female Playwright Project (on view on September 1, through September 30) is a series of photographic portraits and sound installations that bring visibility to playwrights who identify as female.

The New Group presents the Off-Broadway premiere of Philip Ridley's Mercury Fur, which launched the company's 2015-16 season last night, August 19, 2015 (previews began August 5). MERCURY FUR by Philip Ridley is directed by Scott Elliott and runs at The Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre (480 West 42nd Street).

Eric Rosen, Artistic Director of Kansas City Repertory Theatre, today announced the casting for the lead roles for Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's Pulitzer-Prize winning masterpiece, Sunday in the Park with George. Drama Desk and Lucille Lortel Nominee Claybourne Elder (Bonnie & Clyde, Road Show, Allegro) will lead the cast as George, reprising his critically-acclaimed performance in Signature Theatre's award-winning 2014 production. Broadway veteran Sara Jean Ford (A Little Night Music, The Phantom of the Opera, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Finian's Rainbow) has been cast in the legendary role of Dot. Rosen will direct the production, to be produced in a unique partnership with the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art.

For the first time in two decades, The Kitchen will present a new edition of the acclaimed performance series And That's How the Rent Gets Paid, written by downtown legends Jeff Weiss and Richard C. Martinez. For three nights only (tonight, July 14, through July 16), Weiss and Martinez's thrilling serial drama, which follows a charming serial killer through the queer underbelly of New York City, will be brought to life by director and producer Brooke O'Harra with Kate Valk and Nicky Paraiso. The three-day marathon performance features an eclectic group of 50 performers including David Cale, Jennifer Miller, Keith McDermott, Becca Blackwell, Jess Barbagallo, Moe Angelos and Mark Bennett, among others. Weiss will appear in the production, in various cameo performances, throughout the three-day run.

SPACE on Ryder Farm, a nonprofit artist residency program announces its 5th season. Housed on Ryder Farm in picturesque Brewster, NY, SPACE will host over 150 artists as they develop 75 projects.

Godwin's previous collaborations include Julie Taymor, David Bowie, the Muppets & even Aerosmith. A 2014 Jim Henson Award recipient, Godwin utilizes remarkable puppets, masks & mystical neo-noir visuals to tell a story set in a parallel, near-future NYC filled with ghosts, elemental spirits & evil demigods. THE FLATIRON HEX will play six performances only -- May 15th, 16th, 22th, 23th, 29th, and 30th at 7:30PM, at Dixon Place (161A Chrystie Street).

Dixon Place's new dance commission and the feath3r theory's production of, COLOR ME, WARHOL, will have its world premiere tomorrow, April 10th. Conceived, choreographed and directed by Raja Feather Kelly, this piece is the latest installment of an ongoing series jump-started by Mr. Kelly's interest in Andy Warhol, pop culture, and identity.

Dixon Place's new dance commission and the feath3r theory's production of, COLOR ME, WARHOL, will have its world premiere tonight, April 10th.

Performances begin tonight, Friday, March 20 and run through Sunday, April 12. Press night is scheduled for Opening Night Friday, March 27. Appropriate for ages 17 +. As a concert production, there will be no live nudity, though documentary photographs of the original production will be projected.
