A friendship between William Doyle, owner of the Museum of Style Icons in Newbridge, Ireland and Kurt Cobain's mother, sisters and daughter will bring to Ireland never exhibited intimate items of the rock legend's life. The Exhibition opens on July 19th and runs till September 30th in Newbridge, Ireland.

The Recording Academy will honor its 2018 Special Merit Awards recipients with 'GRAMMY Salute To Music Legends®,' an awards ceremony and live tribute concert on Saturday, July 14, 2018, at Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. This year's Lifetime Achievement Award honorees are Hal Blaine, Neil Diamond, Emmylou Harris, Louis Jordan, the Meters, Queen, and Tina Turner. Additional Special Merit Awards honorees to be celebrated include Bill Graham, Seymour Stein, and John Williams, who are this year's Trustees Award honorees, and Tony Agnello and Richard Factor, who are the Technical GRAMMY Award recipients. Also being honored is Melissa Salguero, this year's recipient of the Music Educator Award. Led by GRAMMY®-nominated industry icon Greg Phillinganes as musical director, the tribute concert will feature rare performances by honorees and never-seen renditions by those they've inspired. Henry Naylor is proud to announce the New York premiere of his play, Borders, will take place as part of Next Door at NYTW this summer. The winner of the Carol Tambor Best of Edinburgh Fringe Award and a Fringe First award, the original cast members Avital Lvova and Graham O'Mara will reprise their performances for the New York production.

The Music Center welcomes the return of American Ballet Theatre (ABT) with the company's production of the 19th century classic ballet, La Bayadere, which will be performed at The Music Center's Dorothy Chandler Pavilion for the first time from July 13 - 15, 2018. The final engagement of the 15th season of Glorya Kaufman Presents Dance at The Music Center, La Bayadere is set in royal India and tells the story of eternal love, fate, vengeance and justice. The production will highlight ABT's stellar roster of international ballet stars, including Principal Dancers Isabella Boylston, Jeffrey Cirio, Misty Copeland, Hee Seo, Cory Stearns, Gillian Murphy, Devon Teuscher and Christine Shevchenko.
The Grateful Dead returns to cinemas this summer for its highly anticipated annual event, '8 th Annual Grateful Dead Meet-Up at the Movies.' For the eighth year in a row, a special concert presentation will bring fans together across the country for a unique celebration of the band. This year's concert is a presentation of the July 7, 1989 show from Philadelphia's John F. Kennedy Stadium, and highlights the band's exuberant resurgence, a peak that rivals any that came before it. When this show was recorded, the band included guitarist Jerry Garcia, drummers Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann, bassist Phil Lesh, keyboardist Brent Mydland and guitarist Bob Weir. It marks the final concert at that historic venue as the band storms through an epic set on one of the hottest days of the summer. In addition to the concert, which captures every note of the epic show, attendees will also get an inside look at the 2018 Limited Edition Boxed Set.

In the nearly 70 years since late author Ray Bradbury published 'The Illustrated Man,' various short stories in the classic science fiction anthology have been adapted for film, stage and television. Now, four of them serve as the basis for 'The Bradbury Tattoos,' an ambitious new rock opera, scheduled to premiere July 13 and 22 at Memorial Hall in Cincinnati.
