New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players, America's preeminent professional Gilbert & Sullivan repertory company, announces its new and exciting 2016-17 Season featuring a brand new, fully staged production of The Mikado, two new jewel-box productions of Cox and Box along with Trial by Jury and, rounding out the repertory, the audience favorite Patience.

David Auxier-Loyola celebrates Pride by presenting his new boy-marries-boy musical celebrating the love, humor and universal challenges all relationships face in this 90-minute, piano bar-inspired show that touches the heart and tickles the funny bone; with a 6-person cast, witty lyrics, lush harmonies, and co-starring Naked Boys Singing's Seph Stanek.

The Pirates of Penzance, Gilbert and Sullivan's classic romp of an opera is pleasure enough; but the lovely open air setting of Wolf Trap Performing Arts Center on a pleasant summer's eve makes the frolics of tender-hearted pirates, not-so-naive maidens and a constabulary force who seem to have misplaced their resolve, all the more of a treat.
