ESPN Announces 20-Hour Doumentary, BASKETBALL: A LOVE STORY

ESPN announced today a 20-hour, 10-part documentary 'Basketball: A Love Story' from Peabody Award-winning director Dan Klores. The sweeping project, which consists of more than 60 interconnected 'short stories,' will be available across multiple ESPN platforms in a variety of viewing experiences. Klores has created a vibrant mosaic of the game, featuring 165 exclusive interviews. The cast encompasses basketball's most prominent figures, from Bob Cousy, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Dr. J, Yao Ming, Stephen Curry and Diana Taurasi, to Magic Johnson, Oscar Robertson, Bill Russell, Larry Bird, Chris Paul and Kobe Bryant. Klores' short stories explore the complex nature of love as it relates to the game and opens the window to insights and perspectives about race, politics, media, art, business, style and entertainment. The episodes will feature different narrators: Chadwick Boseman, Julianne Moore, Chris Cuomo, Ashley Judd, Michael Che, Ansel Elgort, Ahmad Rashad, Robin Quivers, Daveed Diggs, and Fisher Stevens.
Iddo Goldberg to Join TNT's SNOWPIERCER Series

Iddo Goldberg has joined the cast of Snowpiercer as a series regular, According to Deadline. The show is an adaptation of Jacques Lob's graphic novel Le Transperceneige and the 2013 Snowpiercer movie.

Rooftop Films is proud to announce our feature film slate for the 2018 Rooftop Films Summer Series, presented by SundanceTV. This year's series will take place May 19th to August 25th featuring more than 45 outdoor screenings in more than a dozen spectacular outdoor venues, with live music, filmmaker appearances, and special enhanced screenings of the best, new, independent films from around the world. The open-air festivities will kick off on Saturday, May 19th, with “This is What We Mean by Short Films,” a collection of some of the most innovative short films of the past year. National Geographic and Jason Michael Paul Entertainment, Inc. today announced that Tony- and Grammy-award winner Daveed Diggs will narrate, as a contributing artist, the upcoming National Geographic: Symphony for Our World, which begins touring in April 2018. The actor, rapper and producer, known for his award-winning work in the musical Hamilton and is bringing a modern take on the classics to the symphony scene with this new show. An inaugural performance of Symphony for Our World will be held in San Francisco at the Louise M. Davies Symphony Hall on Earth Day, April 22, 2018.
