Tony Winner Sutton Foster Added to Broadway Series in Santa Monica

Sutton Foster won two Tony Awards for her leading roles in "Anything Goes" and "Thoroughly Modern Millie" and starred in the ABC Family TV series "Bunheads." She has just returned to TV this spring as the star of the new series "Younger" on TV Land by "Sex and the City" creator Darren Star, to rave reviews. Sutton will make her anticipated debut with the celebrated Broadway @ The Broad series in Santa Monica, CA, produced by Mark Cortale, for two shows only on June 14, 2015 at 5:00 and 8:00 PM, with series host and SiriusXM radio star Seth Rudetsky at the piano. What differentiates this concert series from any other is the seamless mix of intimate, funny and revealing behind-the-scenes stories from Broadway's biggest stars and their stellar singing of musical theatre repertoire. The Shakespeare Theatre Company announces a second extension of its current production of The Metromaniacs, by David Ives, directed by Michael Kahn. The Metromaniacs, previously extended to Sunday, March 15, will play five additional performances, Thursday, March 19 through Sunday, March 22, at the Lansburgh Theatre (450 7th Street NW).
