LATW's THE HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES with James Marsters Kicks Off Today

L.A. Theatre Works will record the California premiere of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's 'The Hound of the Baskervilles,' adapted by David Pichette and R. Hamilton Wright, and starring Seamus Dever, Sarah Drew, James Marsters, and Geoffrey Arend, along with Wilson Bethel, Christopher Neame, Darren Richardson, Moira Quirk and Henri Lubatti, this weekend, June 12-15.

Queens Theatre (QT) presents the L.A. Theatre Works production of THE GRADUATE, based on the 1963 'age of youth' novel and the classic 1967 Oscar-winning film, adapted for the stage by Terry Johnson. The play is directed by Brian Kite, and features a dynamite cast of stars of film and TV: Diane Adair (South Coast Repertory Theatre) as Mrs. Braddock, Matthew Arkin (Bdwy: Losing Louie, The Sunshine Boys; TV: 'Rescue Me', '100 Centre Street', 'All My Children') as Mr. Robinson, Heidi Dippold (TV: 'The Sopranos', 'All My Children') as Mrs. Robinson, Jill Renner (Pacific Resident Theatre) as Elaine Robinson, Darren Richardson (Nat' Tour: Pride and Prejudice TV: 'Lost', 'Fastlane') as Hotel Clerk/Priest/Psychiatrist, Brian Tichnell (TV: 'Happy Endings') as Benjamin Braddock and Tom Virtue (TV: 'The Building, The Bonnie Hunt Show') as Mr. Braddock.

L.A. Theatre Works Will Return to China This Year

At the invitation of Beijng's National Centre for the Performing Arts and sponsored in part by the U.S. Embassy in Beijing and the U.S. Department of State, L.A. Theatre Works (LATW) will return to China in June, 2013 with Geoffrey Cowan and Leroy Aarons' riveting historical drama, Top Secret: The Battle for The Pentagon Papers. LATW toured China with Top Secret in 2011, playing to sold out houses of Chinese professionals and students.
