Two days of non-stop drag, music and dancing are planned, as the Bushwig Festival gets underway with an impressive initial lineup.

Joe’s Pub is celebrating female performers for Women’s History Month with Sandra Bernhard, Bridget Everett, Julie Klausner, Priya Darshini, Kathryn Allison, Eleri Ward, Betty Buckley, Brooklyn Raga Massive Rāginī Festival (formerly known as the Women’s Raga Massive Festival), Ayodele Casel, Desaparecidas featuring Daphne Rubin Vega, and more.

Joe’s Pub has announced their winter programming for 2022 starting in January through February with two shows each evening. In addition, the venue will welcome its former sous chef, Ricky Mungaray back to the kitchen as Executive Chef.

Nancy Manocherian's the cell theatre is presenting LIFE IS DRAG LIVE!, a series of weekly live pop-up performances inspired by their LIFE IS DRAG exhibition of work by Rachel Rampleman. LIFE IS DRAG LIVE! is presented in the windows of the cell theatre in Chelsea with viewers on the sidewalk  on Saturdays at 6:00 PM (EST).

Nancy Manocherian's the cell theatre (Artistic Director Kira Simring) will host in-person street-side performances featuring the performers captured in Rachel Rampleman's exhibit LIFE IS DRAG. On Saturday March 13 at 5:00 PM Darlinda Just Darlindaand Mimi Silk will perform in the windows of the cell's space on 23rd street.

The Village Voice dubbed Queer Performance Art Burlesque Performer, Darlinda Just Darlinda, 'Mastermind of Bizarre Extravaganza.' After 15 years in the entertainment world Darlinda Just Darlinda is turning over a new colorful leaf! In Fall 2018 she wrote Untitled Rainbow Project with a cast of 8 performers. She's on a rainbow kick with the world premier of, One Woman Rainbow (Untitled Rainbow Project Abridged)!

The New York Burlesque Festival is the largest and most acclaimed festival of its kind in the world, and has attracted sold-out crowds since it's premiere in 2003.  This September marks the 17th year for this celebrated event, and producers, Thirsty Girl & Pontani Productions will once again, serve up 4 nights of glitter and glamour in Gotham, with over 120 eye-popping performances from international leading burlesque and variety entertainers at five of NYC's hottest nightclubs. Bringing together over 2,700 enthusiastic audience members who,  in addition to enjoying tassels and tail feathers will be entertained by live music, international DJ's, variety and circus performers, burlesque, boylesque, and a shopping boutique where you can try on custom corsets, peruse pasties, hair ornaments, vintage dresses, lingerie and even partake in a pin-up make-over.

Celebrated performer and writer Justin Sayre will debut his new variety show "Queer Revolution Live!" at Joe's Pub on Saturday, February 9 and Sunday, February 10 at 9:30 PM. Saturday's program will features special guests Jaime Cepero, Darlinda Just Darlinda, Angela Di Carlo, Eric Schmalenberger, and Dane Terry, while Sunday includes Julian Fleisher, Daphne Only, Matt Knife, and Paul Solieau.
