On Dec 3rd SCOBAR Entertainment,Joseph Macchia and Doreen Montalvo produced a one night benefit concert for Puerto Rico. 'This Is What An American Looks Like' A Concert for Hope and Puerto Rico. The Sold out show featured performers from the hit musicals In The Heights, On Your Feet and Hamilton. Drama Desk Award winner and original cast member of In The Heights and On Your Feet Doreen Montalvo hosted the evening.

Peress also helmed the production, with musical direction by Bruce Baumer, choreography by Enrique Brown, and visual design by Obie-winner Jan Hartley. TEMPLE OF THE SOULS is currently playing a limited engagement as part of the New York Musical Festival at Off-Broadway's The Acorn Theatre at Theatre Row (410 W. 42nd St., NY, NY 10036). Performances began last night  Wednesday, July 19 and continue until Sunday, July 23.

Oscar Cabrera's new play, BONNET BLUES, will get a developmental reading March 20th at Lone Star Theatre Co. The reading, directed by Lou Moreno is part of their on-going Texas Reads series produced by artistic director David Davila.

The Ogunquit Playhouse has announced the launch of a new works program to incubate and develop new musicals for the stage. The program is helmed by Matt Schicker and will kick off on Monday, December 5 at 3:30PM at Pearl Studios in New York, NY, with an invite-only Actors' Equity Association stage reading of Frida, a musical with book and lyrics by Michael Aman and music by Dana P. Rowe.

Enthusiastically received by the press and public alike, Shara Ashley's Zeiger's drama Roughly Speaking will play its final performance at Tada, located at 15 West 28 Street, on Sunday, November 20.
