The Tony Award-winning Vineyard Theatre celebrated the opening of its newest musical, The Slug Bearers of Kayrol Island (Or, The Friends of Dr. Rushower), featuring libretto and drawings by acclaimed cartoonist Ben Katchor and music composed by musician Mark Mulcahy, on Tuesday, February 12 at Osso Bucco on Unversity Place.

The unique new website for the new Broadway musical A Catered Affair celebrated a launch event on Wednesday, February 6 at 1PM at Sky360° by Delta, Delta Air Lines' experiential pop-up lounge in Manhattan (101 West 57th Street at 6th Avenue). Fans had the opportunity to meet author and star Harvey Fierstein and enjoy Cupcake Café's brand new, signature 'A Catered Affair Wedding Cupcake.' The Harold Prince production of Leonard Bernstein's Candide returns to the repertoire of New York City Opera on Tuesday, April 8, 2008. Daniel Reichard will sing the title role in all 14 performances. Joining him is Richard Kind, Lauren Worsham and Lielle Berman with Judith Blazer.

Sebastian Arcelus will join the Broadway cast of Jersey Boys, the Tony Award winning Best Musical, in the role of Bob Gaudio on Thursday, January 10. Daniel Reichard, who originated the role at La Jolla Playhouse and on Broadway, will play his final performance on Wednesday, January 9, 2008.
