Errico Joins 'Alive in the World' with Pascal, Reichard, Michele at Zipper Jan. 13 & 14

Tony Award nominated actress Melissa Errico and Recording Artist Toby Lightman  will join the now complete cast of Paul Scott Goodman's Alive in the World. They will join Adam Pascal, Greg Naughton, Daniel Reichard and Lea Michele in the special concert presentation that will take place at the Zipper Factory (336 West 37th St.) Sunday, January 13 and Monday January 14, 2008.

The production will benefit The Twin Towers Orphan Fund. Kurt Deutsch directs. Music direction is by Jim Abbott. Musical staging is by Dan Knechtges, Herrick Goldman is lighting designer.

Melissa Errico has starred on Broadway in My Fair Lady, High Society, Amour and Dracula. She has been in plays by Wilde, Shaw and Wally Shawn off-Broadway, and appeared in television and film. She made her debut album for Manhattan Records/EMI, and developed a strong relationship with her musical idol, the 4-time Oscar-winner, jazz musician, composer and conductor Michel Legrand.

Toby Lightman most recently worked as an Atlantic Records recording artist with two releases to her credit, 2004's "Little Things" and 2006's "Bird On A Wire". She's toured extensively, nationally and internationally, having appeared with such artists as Prince, Rob Thomas, Jewel, James Blunt and Gavin DeGraw.

"Alive in the World is a bold new musical theater work about living and loving in post-9/11 New York City.  Six characters explore feelings of longing, loss, hope, fear and happiness," explain press notes.

The Twin Towers Orphan Fund was founded on September 12, 2001 for the sole purpose of providing educational and welfare assistance to the children who were orphaned (who lost one or both parents) by the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001.

Alive In The World will play 2 performances only at the Zipper Factory (336 West 37th St.): Sunday, January 13th at 7PM and Monday January 14th at 7PM.
