Tony nominee Daniel Breaker just announced via Twitter that he will soon join the cast of THE BOOK OF MORMON as tribal chief 'Mafala.' He writes: I'm pleased to join the @BookofMormon this Feb on B'way!!! Come see me play Mafala in this absolutely hilarious show!!! #LoveMormon'. Breaker will replace original cast member Michael Potts.

A glimpse behind the scenes at the current recording of the recent Shakespeare In The Park production of William Shakespeare's classic comedy LOVE'S LABOUR'S LOST is now available to view, featuring cast-members Colin Donnell, Daniel Breaker and more.

Manhattan Theatre Club will present its annual Winter Benefit, an evening of cocktails and dinner followed by a special one-night-only cabaret-style show featuring Broadway's brightest stars on Monday, February 3, 2014 at The Allen Room at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Fredrick P. Rose Hall (Broadway & 60th Street).

Sh-K-Boom has just announced that a cast album for Love's Labour's Los, which played at the Delacorte Theatre as a part of the 2013 Shakespeare in the Park season, is currently in the works. The cast is in the studio today, January 27, to record the album. A release date has not yet been announced.

Fresh from her solo cabaret engagement at 54 Below, Broadway starlet Ariana DeBose (Motown, Bring It On) has joined the previously announced line-up for the upcoming return of Charlie Rosen's Broadway Big Band. This marks DeBose's third guest appearance with the ensemble. DeBose will perform material she has never sung with the Rosen's Big Band before.

After smash hit engagements in March, May, and September, Charlie Rosen's Broadway Big Band will return to the intimate Manhattan venue 54 Below on February 1st. Tony Award nominee Daniel Breaker, Rebecca Naomi Jones, and Andy Mientus are among the evening's performers.

Join 2013 Kleban Award-winning songwriter Daniel Mate and a group of top-notch singing actors for an evening of eclectic, insightful, and thoroughly contagious theater songs. With astonishing lyrical flair and musical influences ranging from Cole Porter to Joni Mitchell, Steely Dan to Wu- Tang Clan, Funkadelic to Soundgarden, Mate's acclaimed and genre-hopping songs have been heralded by theater veterans and a new generation of audiences alike. This intimate evening will feature performances by Tony Award Nominee Daniel Breaker (Passing Strange, Love's Labour's Lost), Heath Calvert (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, Nobody Loves You), Ariana DeBose (Motown, Bring It On), Hannah Elless (Godspell, The Other Josh Cohen), Grace McLean (Natasha, Pierre, and The Great Comet of 1812), Jason 'Sweettooth' Williams (Bloodsong of Love), and Mate himself.

Tony Award nominee Craig Lucas' acclaimed play RECKLESS returns to New York on October 28h, 2013 at 8pm for a one-night only benefit reading in the Peter Jay Sharp Theater (416 West 42nd Street), directed by Kate Whoriskey (Ruined) and featuring an all-star cast. All proceeds will benefit Safe Horizon(www.safehorizon.org), 'the largest organization of its kind in the United States that helps victims overcome crisis and become survives as they restore their lives'. The evening is produced by The Indigo Theatre Project (Nick Gereffi and Rachel Sussman, Co-Founding Artistic Directors), a theater company that strives to unite passion with purpose by producing high-profile readings of notable plays to benefit charities aligned with the work being read. The Public Theater (Artistic Director, Oskar Eustis; Executive Director, Patrick Willingham) presents the world premiere of Fun Home, directed by Sam Gold. Featuring music by Jeanine Tesori, book and lyrics by Lisa Kron, and based on Alison Bechdel book, Fun Home will run through Sunday, November 17.
