New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) has announced the final two productions of its 2015/16 Season. The New York premiere of RED SPEEDO, written by Lucas Hnath (The Christians) and directed by Lileana Blain-Cruz (Hollow Roots), will begin performances in February.

Presented by The Broad Stage, Ruby Wax: Out Of Her Mind opens on January 23rd and runs through February 3rd.

FREUD'S LAST SESSION, New York's long-running hit play by Mark St. Germain, kicked off its L.A. premiere Wednesday night, January 16th starring Judd Hirsch as Sigmund Freud and Tom Cavanagh as C. S. Lewis under the direction of Tyler Marchant, who helmed the original New York production. Presented by The Broad Stage & Carolyn Rossi Copeland, Robert Stillman and Jack Thomas, FREUD'S LAST SESSION will play a strictly limited engagement through February 10th at The Broad Stage in Santa Monica. Highlights of the expanded season include world premieres from today's most relevant companies and artists in dance, theater, and music from around the world; artistic partnerships with London's Menier Chocolate Factory, the Los Angeles Opera, and Shakespeare's Globe Theatre; the 4th Annual Westside Jazz Experience featuring stars such as Pat Metheny, Rickie Lee Jones, and the Fabulous Thunderbirds; a return of family programs including a hit from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival; and artists direct from Brazil, Cuba, Europe, and across the U.S.

Virtuoso, rising star violinist Tim Fain, described by the Herald Tribune as 'dazzling, always risky, and unfailingly exciting,' will be premiering his collaboration with legendary composer Phillip Glass on October 9, 2011 at 4:00pm as part of Portals, a multimedia evening exploring the human longing for connection in a digital age. Partita for Solo Violin, written by Glass specifically for Fain, brings together the 34-year-old violin virtuoso from Santa Monica and the 74-year-old legendary pioneer of American minimalism, to create a performance which will be a true cultural event for the 21st century.
