On Friday, April 19 at 8:00 PM, The Cecilia Chorus of New York, Mark Shapiro, Music Director, will present the World Premiere of Cyrus Chestnut’s Power in the Blood, along with Beethoven’s Christ on the Mount of Olives at Carnegie Hall’s Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage.

Renowned pianist Cyrus Chestnut is set to deliver his first-ever headlining performance at Carnegie Hall on April 19th, featuring a full orchestra.

This is a young lady with a stellar voice who has honed her vocal stylings with deliberate phrasing to create a polished presentation.

After a national search, The Music School of Delaware has named Stephen Beaudoin – an accomplished leader working at the intersection of music, education, business, and social impact – as the organization's new President & CEO. Beaudoin begins with the Music School on February 5, 2024.

Co-produced by Grammy winning bassist/bandleader John Clayton, who worked with McCann when she performed at the Catalina Jazz Club in Los Angeles in 2021, and longtime collaborator guitarist Fareed Haque, McCann’s Do I Move You? was created at the end of the COVID-19 quarantine period.
