The 17th Annual Tribeca Film Festival Reveals Feature Film Lineup

The 17th annual Tribeca Film Festival, presented by AT&T, revealed its feature film lineup championing the discovery of emerging voices and celebrating new work from established filmmaking talent. To close the Festival, Tribeca will World Premiere The Fourth Estate, from Oscar®-nominated director Liz Garbus, which follows The New York Times' coverage of the Trump administration's first year. The Centerpiece Gala will be the World Premiere of Drake Doremus' sci-fi romance Zoe starring Ewan McGregor, Lea Seydoux, Rashida Jones, and Theo James. The 2018 Tribeca Film Festival takes place April 18-29.

Following two sell-out runs at the National Theatre in 2017 which saw Barber Shop Chronicles receive widespread critical acclaim, four new cast members have been announced for 2018's international dates in New Zealand and Australia. For generations, African men have gathered in barber shops. Sometimes they have haircuts, sometimes they listen, more often than not they talk. This heart-warming, hilarious and insightful new play, set in Johannesburg, Harare, Kampala, Lagos, Accra and London, explores the role of barber shops as confession boxes, political platforms, preacher-pulpits and football pitches... places to go for unofficial advice, and to keep in touch with the world.

Antic Face and Nik Holttum Productions today announce casting for the UK premi re of award-winning American playwright Jen Silverman's play Collective Rage: A Play in Five Betties. Nina Wadia (Betty 4) and Sara Stewart (Betty 1) lead the all-female company, directed by Charlie Parham, along with Lucy McCormick (Betty 2), Beatriz Romilly (Betty 3) and Genesis Lynea (Betty 5). Collective Rage opens in the Large at Southwark Playhouse on 29 January, with previews from 24 January and runs until 17 February.

Following the sell out run at the National Theatre this summer extra dates have now been added for the return of Inua Ellams' play Barber Shop Chronicles to the Dorfman this autumn, now opening on 20 November and in repertoire until the 9 January. Tickets go on sale at midday on Thursday 31 August.
